It also claims that the event is going to end with Detroit: Become Human, Mortal Kombat 11, and Red Dead Redemption 2 back-to-back from December 29 to December 31, while the Christmas giveaway is the significantly lower-profile Commander Keen. The Christmas free games have almost always been some of the bigger ones during these events, so it wouldn’t make sense to break from tradition now.

Perhaps the leaked Epic Games Store free mystery games list is real, but the order is wrong. Maybe only some of the games are part of the free games lineup this year.
