Once you reach the fourth main mission of the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokemon Legends Z-A, you’ll be able to start and complete a new Side Mission called ‘Which Meowth Do You Purrfer?” –get it? It’s a cat pun! The quest giver is named Felina and can be found in Rouge Sector 7, pictured below.
She wants you to defeat her three Meowth in a Pokemon battle, and while it seems that you’ll get to pick one of the Meowth as a reward after beating her, the wording is a bit misleading…

Which of Felina’s Meowths Should You Pick in Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension? (Side Mission 143)
So, while it may seem that Felina will gift you one of her Meowth as a reward for defeating her, that’s not the case. You actually will not get to keep any of her Meowth. Picking one will only let you “play” with it for a little bit, giving you a couple of options from a dropdown list. There’s nothing you will get from interacting with either of the Pokemon, so it’s kind of a waste of time, unfortunately!
What’s the Reward for Completing ‘Which Meowth Do You Purrfer in Pokemon Legends Z-A?
While you won’t get a
Meowth for your collection, you will still get the typical Side Mission reward. This time, it’s 2,222 Poke Dollars and the Pay Day TM.
Pay Day is a fairly weak Normal-type move that throws coins at the opposing Pokemon –it gives you some extra money after a battle, though!

If you’re feeling bummed out by the ending of this Side Mission (I know I was!), we’ll still tell you how to catch each version of Meowth and their evolution requirements.

Easily enough, all three iterations of Meowth in the Mega Dimension DLC can be found in 1-Star Hyperspace Lumiose pockets. Of course, the chances of finding these Pokemon are random, so if you don’t see any appearing, you can rest on a bench to pass the time and essentially reroll the encounters in the Hyperspace Wild Zones.
