How To Get Mega Meowstic in Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC

To get Mega Meowsticin Pokemon Legends Z-A, players need to complete Hyperspace Lumiose Survey NÂș3 (the Main Story Quest of Mega Dimension DLC), and wait to be called by Corbeau to the Rust Syndicate.

He will give players the location of the Third Rogue Mega Evolution running rampant in Hyperspace Lumiose. So, cook a +40 Level Donut in Ansha’s shop, and prepare for a tough fight.

It is highly recommended that players have a Tyranitarwith Tyranitarite equipped to Mega Evolve it during this battle. Dark Pulse and Crunch are good moves to have for this fight.

Rogue Mega Meowstic is a powerful foe, that will use empowered Psybeam, Psyshock, and the most annoying of all: Empowered Mega Reflect. This last move creates a cage of pure light, and allows Mega Meowstic to charge a wave of Psychic Energy that might one-shot the trainer, so be careful.

Look for the weak spot in the barrier (a shining square) and hit it with everything. Then, proceed inside the barrier and break the charging attack by hitting Mega Meowstic with a Super Effective Move.

Once defeated, Meowstic will drop Meowsticite, the Mega Stone needed to evolve it into Mega Meowstic. Players will also be able to catch a Male Meowstic and receive some Hyperspace Berries from the Golden Poke Ball.

Is Mega Meowstic Any Good In PvP/PvE?

Mega Meowstic is definitely a powerful Psychic-type Pokemon, with a BST of 566 that puts it above the average (Tier B+) and its stat distribution makes it even more interesting. As a Fast Special Attacker, it benefits from a notable bump in its Speed, Sp. Def, and Sp. Atk.

And as any Fast Special Attacker, its ideal nature should be either Modest (Sp.Atk+, Atk -) or Timid (Speed +, Atk -). For EV Spread, train Meowstic as follows: 252 Sp. Atk / 4 Def/ 252 Speed.

Mega Chimecho is one of the new Mega Evolutions added with Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC. Here’s how to get the Chimechite Mega Stone.

Mega Meowstic does really well in PvP, with Psybeam, Reflect, Light Screen, and Calm Mind, since it can spam long range Sp. Attacks while deploying Barriers for the team.

For a more aggressive build, try Psychic, Calm Mind, Psyshock, and Dark Pulse for coverage against Ghost-types like Mega Gengar, and Mega Chandelure.

In PvE, Mega Meowstic rules supreme as a tactical support or fast Special Attacker. Its utility is significant, more so against powerful Megas like Mega Lucario Z, Mega Blaziken, and uber leveled Fighting-type Pokemon found in the Hyperspace Wild Zones, that are extremely aggressive and hard to deal with without a nice counter.
