Complete Attachment Guide for All Weapons
Having an unbeatable build in ARC Raiders is something many players want. However, the Topside is cruel, and it’s not always easy to find the best guns with the right attachments. With that in mind, I put together a simple guide with one-attachment suggestions to improve each weapon in the game, and I made sure to avoid anything difficult to craft or obtain.
In other words, if you want to create the best loadouts with only one attachment in ARC Raiders, this guide is for you. After some testing and comparing the current data, I put together the ultimate list of attachments.
Important note: Extended Mag and Silencers were not considered for this list for a reason. Extended Magazines in all rarities have no downsides, and players should equip them whenever possible. Most Silencers also have no major downsides, but I avoided recommending them here because their usefulness depends on the player’s playstyle, and they can’t be suggested to everyone.

Every Attachment Type Explained
There are four attachment slots in ARC Raiders: Muzzle/Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, and Stock. Each carries a different addon and serves a unique purpose, explained below.
Muzzle or Barrel
There are four types of attachments for the Muzzle or Barrel slot: Silencers, which reduce gun noise; Compensators, which improve accuracy; Brakes, which reduce recoil; and the Extended Barrel, which increases bullet velocity or speed.
Shotgun Choke and Shotgun Silencer are also Muzzle attachments and are exclusive to shotguns.
Underbarrel
All underbarrel or grip attachments control and improve a gun’s recoil and kickback. There are two types: Vertical Grip and Angled/Horizontal Grip. The Vertical Grip helps reduce up-down recoil, while the other two, Angled and Horizontal, manage unwanted left and right motion.
Magazine
Magazines are one of the few attachments in ARC Raiders with no downsides. They simply extend the weapon’s magazine capacity, with rarer versions adding more bullets.
Stock
There are three types of Stocks in ARC Raiders: Stable, Lightweight, and Padded. Stable Stocks reduce recoil and dispersion recovery time. Lightweight Stocks improve ADS and weapon equip time. Padded Stocks reduce vertical and horizontal recoil along with per-shot dispersion.

How to Pick the Best Attachment for Each Gun
Here is a case-by-case analysis that explains which ARC Raiders attachments fit each weapon best and why.
Anvil
By default, Anvil is one of the best weapons in ARC Raiders because it can deal massive damage to both the ARC and raiders while offering an acceptable fire speed. That said, reducing its per-shot dispersion with an attachment like Compensator can go a long way and improve its accuracy.
Anvil is also one of the few weapons in the game with an exclusive Legendary attachment called the Anvil Splitter. Equipping it turns the bullets into four-round projectiles that deal massive damage in close to mid-range combat. However, since Legendary items like this are hard to find or craft, it is not listed as the best attachment for Anvil.
Hairpin
There’s not much to say about this gun. It is known as a free loadout-level weapon that is cheap, accessible, and offers some utility. However, when it comes to attachments, players are limited to magazines, which leaves them with no choice but to equip an Extended Light Mag.
Burletta
As a semi-automatic pistol, Burletta’s biggest advantage is its rapid fire rate, which, according to the in-game description, allows it to shoot as fast as the wielder can pull the trigger. But this high fire rate means it can easily deplete its magazines, making an Extended Light Mag 3 a must-have.
Venator
Known as one of the all-around options for ARC Raiders‘ PvP, Venator has significant recoil. Its kick and bloom can be tamed by the player, but what it lacks most is more bullets in each magazine. This gives the player a better chance of dropping the enemy before having to reload. In other words, the best option for improving Venator’s performance is an Extended Medium Mag.
Stitcher
In the current meta, Stitcher is mostly used as a PvP gun because it can dump a load of bullets on nearby enemies. Its biggest drawback is its heavy horizontal and vertical recoil, which is not easy to tame. As the player upgrades Stitcher, it automatically reduces its horizontal recoil, but it can still benefit from an all-around attachment like Muzzle Brake 2 to improve accuracy. As for a second option, a Vertical Grip works well because the horizontal recoil can be offset with weapon upgrades.
Bobcat
As one of ARC Raiders‘ SMGs, Bobcat falls into the same category as Stitcher. It has high recoil that needs to be reduced with a Muzzle Brake. For an upgraded Bobcat with already lower horizontal recoil, the second-best attachment is a Vertical Grip.
Rattler
It is not easy to make Rattler work in ARC Raiders‘ meta. Any recoil-reducing attachment, such as the Muzzle Brake, helps, but Rattler is generally not worth the investment, especially as a PvPvE weapon.
Arpeggio
Due to its gapped shots, the best attachment for Arpeggio is a Stable Stock, which helps maintain the fire angle in between each burst.
Osprey
The Lightweight Stock allows the player to do accurate no-scope shots with Osprey because it improves ADS. However, a better option for this slow-fire weapon intended for long-range combat is the Extended Barrel, which improves bullet velocity.
Torrente
A fun attachment to use with Torrente is the Kinetic Converter, which lets the player dump the 80-round magazine on the enemy much faster. However, that does not solve Torrente’s biggest problem, which is its high recoil. Players looking to improve this gun’s accuracy will need the Padded Stock, which makes its shots more manageable.
Renegade
Bullet velocity is one of Renegade’s weaknesses in ARC Raiders, which can be addressed with the Extended Barrel. But if long-range combat is not a concern, players can also go with the Compensator 2 to reduce dispersion and land more accurate shots.
Bettina
Because of its slow fire rate, Bettina pairs well with the Kinetic Converter. However, a more budget-friendly option would be the Horizontal Grip.
IL Toro and Vulcano
Choosing only one attachment for shotguns in ARC Raiders is fairly easy. There is no better option than the Shotgun Choke 2 and 3. This attachment helps land more accurate shots and reduces dispersion.
Tempest
As a fully automatic assault rifle, Tempest has high recoil that must be controlled with attachments like Muzzle Brake 2. The weapon also benefits from Angled Grip because its horizontal recoil is automatically reduced at higher levels.
Ferro
As a single-shot weapon, Ferro only needs an attachment like the Compensator 2 to ensure its shots are more accurate.
Kettle
Since Kettle is a semi-automatic assault rifle, it needs a recoil-reducing attachment like the Compensator 2. However, it can also use an Extended Mag because its default bullet capacity often falls short of knocking down other players.
Guns That Don’t Need Attachments
Two weapons in ARC Raiders are fine without attachments: Hullcracker and Aphelion. Investing hard-earned Legendary or Epic attachments in these guns is not worth it, and low-tier attachments do not offer any meaningful improvement either.
Guns That Cannot Be Modified
Two of ARC Raiders‘ Legendary weapons, Equalizer and Jupiter, have no attachment slots and cannot be modded.
