How to Complete Undertaker Remembrance Quest in Elden Ring Nightreign
Undertaker is one of the two DLC characters in Elden Ring Nightreign. The Forsaken Hollows DLC sees the addition of a new shifting earth, which completely changes the map, and new Nightlords and bosses. Players can also complete the Remembrance quest for both characters to get some of the best Relics for them, and more Chalices that offer different color combinations.
Undertaker’s Remembrance is one of the easier quests up until the final chapter, where players might get confused as to what they should do. The guide offers a walkthrough of her whole Remembrance quest, as well as rewards associated with it in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Undertaker Remembrance Quest in Elden Ring Nightreign
Chapter 1 & 2
After doing the introductory fight with the Dreglord and unlocking the Undertaker, players can start playing her in any Expedition. The first chapter of her Remembrance progresses automatically, and you can start doing the second chapter, which requires you to acquire a Memory Fragment. Defeating any Nightlord is your only option here, so you can go for the new DLC bosses like the Balancers, or even try an easier boss like the Tricephalos.
Chapter 3
Once you complete the chapter and come back to the Roundtable, head on over and start the third chapter, which will teleport you next to the Iron Menial. During the conversation, he will start attacking you, and upon defeating him, he will call on the other Nightfarers to kill you. Turn around and deal with the Executor first.
Once he is down, go into the room with the Roundtable, and here you will encounter the Guardian and the Recluse. If you can line up your Ultimate Art so that it hits both the Nightfarers, then you should use it here. Otherwise, save it for later.
After this, you will have to fight the Wylder near the Small Jar Bazaar, and finally Raider and Ironeye together in the same room where you unlocked Undertaker. Once all of these Nightfarers have been dealt with, approach the chapel, and Iron Menial will show up again. Talk to him, and afterwards, you will need to interact with the wall up ahead. You will first have to smash the wall, then absorb the Power of the Night.
Upon doing so, you will hear footsteps, and you can go to the Garden to find the Scholar. Talk to him, and finish this chapter to get the Leather Monocle Case.
Chapter 4 & 5
The fourth chapter is the Memory Fragments section, so you will need to run another Expedition on Undertaker and take down a Nightlord. Once you return and start the fifth chapter, make your way to the Chapel and offer a prayer. Go to the Iron Menial, talk to him, and he will mention finding the Scholar when the new Shifting Earth is up. If you don’t have the event active, then you can go to the Collector Signboard and purchase it for two Sovereign Sigils.
Go to the Expeditions table, load up the Balancers on the Great Hollow event. Once you drop onto the map, you need to make your way to the northwest part of the map. If you spawn in the top part of the map, you can take the Spectral Hawk Tree to reach the building.
Doing this on the first day is not necessary, but you might as well do it, as you do not need to fight any enemies throughout this quest, so you can complete this section on level 1.
Head into the gap, but don’t go towards the crab; instead, climb the ledge on the right and make your way to the courtyard. If you arrived at the entrance of the building, then the same applies in that situation as well: go to the courtyard where Godskin Duo can be found.
You do not need to fight these enemies, especially since they are very tough to beat early on in the Expedition.
Head on left and into the building up ahead, where you will find a staircase going up. Go to the top floor, where you will spot a hanging rock. Go through the door ahead, turn left, then left again to reach the other side of the rock, where you can climb up and get onto the wooden beams. Look around for a wall that is broken, and head inside to find the Scholar trapped inside a crystal. Interact with him to get the Primal Core, and you can leave the building after this.
Your next objective is to complete the current Expedition you are on. It doesn’t matter if you die on the first Night or go on to beat the Nightlord; the only thing you shouldn’t do is quit the game. Once you get back to the Roundtable Hold, talk to the Scholar, and he will give you the Night-Hued Glass and the Bundled Paper, completing the chapter.
Chapter 6 & 7
The most confusing part of Undertaker’s questline is the sixth chapter. There is no option to start it, and the information doesn’t really help with what the player has to do. Load up the Night Aspect Expedition while playing as Undertaker, and defeat him. This will be a difficult task, so you can opt for duos or trios if you are more comfortable in that. Once the Nightlord has been defeated, you will find the Dismembered Finger in your inventory.
Go towards the Roundtable Hold here, and drop the finger right before you approach the tree. You will know that you have dropped it in the right location when you hear the dialogue: “This will do… I’m sure.” Once the item has been dropped, head on over to the corpse at the end and interact with it to complete the ending, and this also completes the sixth chapter.
Once you return to the Roundtable Hold, you will get Undertaker’s Remembrance Outfit and the Glass Necklace (Relic). This completes the whole questline for Undertaker, and you can start tackling Scholar’s quest if you haven’t done that already.
