Here’s a full step-by-step walkthrough of the main easter egg for Ashes of the Damned in Black Ops 7 Zombies so you can easily complete the quest!

How to Complete the Clock Puzzle at the Farmhouse in Ashes of the Damned

Once you’ve obtained the DG-2 Turret for Ol’ Tessie, you can begin the next step of the easter egg. You must begin by shooting the DG-2 Turret at the clock tower in Ashwood, and then shooting the Necrofluid Gauntlet at the clock face and reloading to become purple. Now, it’s time to head to Vandorn Farm and enter the Farmhouse, where the corpses of the Vandorns sit around the dining table.

To solve this part of the puzzle, you must face the southwest wall in the Farmhouse and make note of the hour hand on the clock. For instance, in our game (and the image above), the hourglass was on 3 (III). Now, look at the wooden floor by the dining table and locate the numerals scratched into the floor, and stand on the correct number. Ours was 3, so we’d stand on III, which is behind the Vandorn children. Meanwhile, 12 would be behind the father, and 9 would be behind the mother.

Your goal is to now stand on your mark and wait for the skeleton’s head to turn to face you. Once the skeleton’s eyes turn red, you will need to shoot the father’s head with the charged Necrofluid Gauntlet shot that you obtained from the clock tower. Doing so will begin the next step.

How to Collect All Ritual Items in Ashes of the Damned

There are now 4 Ritual Items to collect, and each of them can be found in the same place for every game you play. To grab the item, simply interact with it via the reload button. Here’s the location of all 4 Ritual Items in Vandorn Farm:

Ritual Item #1 – Tasty-Face

Enter the upstairs bedroom of the Farmhouse, where on the bottom bunkbed, you can find the head of a teddy bear. Interact with this head to pick up the Tasty-Face ritual item.

Ritual Item #2 – Pa’s Pigsticker

Head inside the Garage, where the Armor Wall-Buy and Mystery Box can be found. Look at the north wall, where you will find a workbench. Interact with the workbench to pick up Pa’s Pigsticker, another ritual item.

Ritual Item #3 – Junior’s Fun-Face

Head inside the Barn and venture upstairs. When facing the southeast wall, you will find a corpse with a mask placed over the covering, right next to a pile of hay, and to the left of Death Perception. Interact with the mask to grab Junior’s Fun-Face.

Ritual Item #4 – Ma’s Chalice

Head into the Cellar of the Barn, and enter the room where you grabbed the Necrofluid Gauntlet by the locked flesh box. Now, head to the northwest wall of the Cellar and interact with the left side of the bathtub to grab Ma’s Chalice.

How to Start and Complete the Farm Ritual in Ashes of the Damned

To begin, you’re going to want to make sure you have a bunch of Monkey Bombs and perhaps even Frenzied Guard as a Field Upgrade. The objective here will cause a lockdown in which you have over 60 seconds to defend the ritual items. Each ritual item will get attacked by an endless horde of zombies, but you can ensure the ritual items are safe by throwing Kazimirs, Monkey Bombs, and deploying the Frenzied Guard Field Upgrade to take away the zombies’ aggro on the ritual items.

When you’re ready, you can begin the ritual by interacting with the glowing red circles found around Vandorn Farm. Once you’ve placed down all 4 ritual items, you will need to interact with each of them in quick succession, and upon interacting with the last one, the ritual will start.

Once the 60+ seconds have expired, all zombies will die, and you will know that you’ve done the ritual correctly, as there are now wisps where the glowing red circles and ritual items once were. The voiceline from the Entity will also confirm this. If you do fail this step, simply interact with the ritual items again in the next round, but remember our advice above on how to easily complete the ritual.
