How to Unlock Every Cheat in Red Dead Redemption 1 (All RDR 1 Cheats)

Back in the day, cheat codes could be found in all kinds of games, allowing players to have a little extra fun or make life easier for themselves. However, with the rise of online multiplayer games and the introduction of Trophies and Achievements, cheats have become a lot less prevalent in modern games. Of course, Red Dead Redemption is not a modern game.

All Red Dead Redemption 2 Cheat Codes (& How to Enter Them)

The process for entering Red Dead Redemption 2 cheats is relatively straightforward, but finding and unlocking all 37 RDR2 cheats isn’t quite as easy.

Like many of the other great titles from Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption has plenty of cheats. Unfortunately, using them will prevent players from unlocking Trophies and Achievements and disable autosaves, meaning that players can’t gain any real advantage from them. Of course, that doesn’t mean that they can’t still be useful for having fun and causing a little chaos.

All Unlockable Red Dead Redemption Cheats

There are 21 unlockable RDR1 cheats, each of which requires players to enter a special code via the Cheats menu. To do so, players will need to navigate to the Cheats menu via the Options menu and then press Triangle (PlayStation), Y (Xbox), or X (Switch) to bring up the on-screen keyboard. They’ll then need to type in the code, being sure to make note of any punctuation such as commas, apostrophes, or exclamation points, as failing to include these will prevent the code from working.

After entering a cheat code for the first time, it will be automatically added to the list of RDR 1 cheats, ensuring that players won’t need to enter it again in the future. Once unlocked, players will be able to toggle a cheat on and off using the option on the right.

In addition to the 21 unlockable Red Dead Redemption cheat codes listed above, players will also have access to 18 cheats by default. These were originally tied to the Rockstar Social Club service, but as that’s no longer available, they’ll be unlocked automatically as soon as players boot up the game.
