- PS Plus On PC is not currently available in every country that has the main streaming service.
- PS5 games cannot be streamed.
- A PS5 or PS4 is not needed to subscribe to PS Plus on PC.
- Sony recommends a Broadband wired internet connection of a minimum of 5 Mbps.
Your mileage will vary greatly with PS Plus’ streaming service, and the quality can even vary between PS5 and PC. Personally, games stream really well on the PS5, but I notice a slightly bigger delay on PC.

Can PS Plus Premium Subscribers Stream PS5 Games?
PS Plus Premium’s Cloud Streaming is compatible with the Games Catalog’s PS4 games and all the titles found in the Classics Catalog. PS5 games cannot be streamed.
Sony has not specified a fixed date of when subscribers can anticipate new additions to the library, but history suggests that games will be added roughly halfway through a month.
Can Subscribers Switch Tiers?
Yes. If someone wants to move up to a higher PS Plus tier, they only need to purchase a new membership at their desired level. This upgrade will happen instantly, and the customer will be charged a prorated fee for the rest of the current month.

The PS Plus Essential Free Games For December 2025
Lego Horizon Adventures (PS5), Killing Floor 3 (PS5), The Outlast Trials (PS5/PS4), Neon White (PS5/PS4), and Synduality: Echo of Ada (PS5)
These PS Plus Essential games will be available from December 2, 2025, to January 5, 2026. It feels weird to write “2026,” but here we are.
Sony is ending 2025 with a bang, as PS Plus Essential is getting its biggest lineup of the year. I mean that quite literally (and numerically), as December 2025 free games clock in at a ridiculous 5. If that was not enough, on December 2, Red Dead Redemption launches on PS Plus Extra and Premium, so it basically feels like 6 games are dropping.
December 2025 beats its predecessors in terms of quantity, but quality is a bit more subjective. Neon White is, by far, the month’s best game, and it compares comfortably with any other freebie released in 2025. If you have never played this card-based first-person action romp, then prepare yourself for an unforgettable and unique experience that will make you question why you waited this long to give it a try. Just to be clear, I’m recounting my history with Neon White, as I waited too long to give it a go.
Lego Horizon Adventures is probably December 2025’s biggest free PS Plus Essential game. Coming out in 2024, this spin-off retells the first game’s story with a Lego twist, which means a family-friendly tone and a heavier emphasis on comedy. Gameplay-wise, Lego Horizon Adventures is fairly divisive, as it mostly consists of beat ’em up sections and some fairly easy puzzles. Nothing terrible, but nothing great either.
Are you somebody who prefers first-person shooters? How about co-op FPS games? Oh, do you love a good horror theme? Then, Killing Floor 3 should be perfect for you. Now, the game did not have a great launch, a fact reflected by its quick arrival on PS Plus; however, the gunplay is fantastic, and the rest of the package is gradually getting better. Definitely give this a try.
If you want a co-op game that is just straight-up horror, then The Outlast Trials is the way to go. It is not exactly like the single-player Outlast games, but it is still riveting and thrilling.
Finally, Synduality: Echo of Ada is a third-person shooter with PvPvE matches. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but it is another 2025 release.
Most subscribers will likely invest in PS Plus Extra as that tier contains more than enough PS5 and PS4 games to keep someone busy for a long time. Unless specifically interested in classic PS games or Cloud Streaming, there is not much reason to pick Premium over Extra. Still, subscribers of both tiers can download and install the following titles.
