Z-A DLC Officially Reveals Mega Zeraora

By newsgame

Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Mega Dimension DLC officially confirms and reveals Mega Zeraora, showing its new design in today’s trailer. With a focus on Mega Evolution as a gimmick, Pokemon Legends: Z-A secured its place among the favorite games for many fans. The game has its fair share of critics, but there is a lot of hype surrounding the Mega Dimension DLC coming December 10, 2025, with several new Mega Evolutions confirmed so far.

The DLC will take place in a “new” setting in the form of Hyperspace Lumiose, which players will be able to access via a baking mini-game featuring Hoopa and the new character, Ansha. Hyperspace Lumiose will have wild Pokemon over level 100 in Pokemon Legends: Z-A for the first time in the series, and it will even allow fans to surpass the historic limit with power-ups. The previously revealed new Mega Evolutions will be on a list of 19 total if the leaks are true, but considering that all new Megas revealed so far were part of the original leak, including Mega Zeraora, it’s basically confirmed to be the case.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A Basically Confirms All 16 DLC Mega Evolutions

Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s upcoming release saw dataminers retrieve information regarding 16 new Mega Evolutions in the game’s DLC.

It’s Time to Welcome Mega Zeraora in Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s DLC

Mega Zeraora in Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s DLC will have more black fur as opposed to its original mostly yellow color, kind of resembling Luxray. Its type will be Electric, like the original, and it’s likely to be a mixed attacker.

In fact, the stats for Mega Zeraora in Pokemon Legends: Z-A leaked a couple of weeks ago, showing that it will have big increases to its attacking stats. These are as follows:

  • HP – 88 (88 in base form)
  • Attack – 157 (112 in base form)
  • Defense – 75 (75 in base form)
  • Sp. Attack – 147 (102 in base form)
  • Sp. Defense – 80 (80 in base form)
  • Speed – 153 (143 in base form)

This means Mega Zeraora is getting +45 Attack, +45 Sp. Attack, and +10 Speed, based on the leaks. Stats for the confirmed DLC Mega Evolutions so far have not been revealed yet.

Mega Zeraora indirectly confirms Mega Darkrai and Mega Heatran in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, as the three were leaked together thanks to their respective Mega Stones being found in the game’s files on release. Since Mega Zeraora, Darkrai, and Heatran were also on the list of leaked Megas for the DLC, and considering that Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur were too, the list is essentially confirmed, too. This includes:

  • Mega Raichu X
  • Mega Raichu Y
  • Mega Chimecho (Psychic/Steel)
  • Mega Absol Y
  • Mega Staraptor
  • Mega Garchomp Y
  • Mega Lucario Y
  • Mega Heatran
  • Mega Darkrai
  • Mega Golurk
  • Mega Meowstic
  • Mega Crabominable
  • Mega Golisopod
  • Mega Magearna
  • Mega Zeraora (Electric)
  • Mega Scovillain
  • Mega Glimmora
  • Mega Tatsugiri
  • Mega Baxcalibur (Dragon/Ice)

There is another trailer confirmed for Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Mega Dimension DLC before launch, after which, the expansion will be released on December 10. Considering the return of Korrina and the fact that she has a Lucario, which is allegedly getting a second Mega Evolution, it seems plausible that Mega Lucario Y will be shown in the next trailer.
