How To Get Quartz Ore In StarRupture

You can get Quartz Ore by visiting underground caves in StarRupture. The problem is that those underground caves are blocked by veins that can’t be removed. What you can do is wait until a heat wave hits the planet. That will burn everything on the surface, including those veins. Then, you have a comfortable window to visit those underground caves and explore their contents.

There, you can find Quartz Ores and mine them by shooting them with your mining device.

Each Quartz storage destroyed by the mining device should give around 5 Quartz Ores in StarRupture.

Unlike Wolfram, Titanium, and Calcium Ores, which belong to the resources category, Quartz Ores belong to the valuable category. It’s still a resource to craft items like the other Ores, but Quartz Ores are still harder to get and mine in StarRupture.
