How To Automate Ore Extraction In StarRupture
Building in StarRupture is similar to Satisfactory. The best part about building a new base to extract resources is automating the entire base and making sure the entire factory is working itself to extract, refine, and launch your products back to the corporations. However, it can be tricky to automate the base, as a lot of details can get into play. This guide will help players automate their ore extraction in StarRupture.
How To Get Water In StarRupture
Survival game is incomplete without hydration mechanics, and that’s also a thing in StarRupture.
You start automating your ore extraction by choosing the correct area to build your Base Core. It’s not recommended to place your base at a random location. Instead, you can target areas that are rich in Wolfram, Titanium, and Calcium. After that, you need as much energy as possible, since automating the base will cost a lot of it. You can build a couple of Solar Generators to build a solid energy system, and continue building more Solar Generators as you need.
The idea here is to start by building a machine that extracts ores and keeps refining and transporting these ores until they reach the Orbital Cargo Launcher, which will send the final products to the corporations.
You need to build the Ore Excavator on top of areas that are rich in Wolfram, Titanium, and Calcium to automatically mine them. After that, the extracted materials must be transported to a Smelter to turn them into bars and blocks. To do this, link the Ore Excavator and the Smelter using Rails.
If something blocks the path between the two machines, you can use as many Rail Supports as you need to connect them. You can also use Rail Connectors to connect multiple Ore Excavators into a Smelter. This will automate the extraction of ores and turn them into bars and blocks.
At the start of the game, the Smelter will be the last machine before the Orbital Cargo Launcher, where the required materials are usually Titanium and Wolfram Bars. After that, it starts to get complicated, where more rails are needed to connect the Smelter with machines like the Fabricator and the Furnace.
For example, if you need to launch Titanium Sheets using the Orbital Cargo Launcher, you need to link the Smelter with a Fabricator. The Smelter will provide the Titanium Bars that will be transported by Rails to the Fabricator, which will print them into Titanium Sheets. Then, connect the Fabricator to the Orbital Cargo Launcher to automatically deliver the Titanium Sheet and send it to the corporations.
