Pringles Begins Promo With World of Warcraft, Sea of Thieves, Fallout 76, and The Outer Worlds 2
Xbox has officially teamed up with Pringles to give away some free goodies for World of Warcraft, Sea of Thieves, Fallout 76, and The Outer Worlds 2, but unfortunately, the promotion is restricted to the EU and requires a smartphone to complete. While international gamers can technically get the items from this Xbox promo, they will have to jump through a few hoops in order to do so.
Fans are not strangers to Xbox partnering with popular snack manufacturers for unique promotions featuring items for various games. For example, in 2024, Xbox partnered with both Trolli and Mountain Dew to give away items for games like World of Warcraft, Diablo 4, Sea of Thieves, The Elder Scrolls Online, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and Madden NFL 25.
These Were the Most-Played Games on Xbox and PlayStation in 2025
New data reveals the most-played games of 2025, and the results might be surprising, considering the many big titles that were released that year.
Now, Pringles has put its chips on the table with an Xbox gaming giveaway of its own. From now through May 5, players who make an account on the Pringles website can generate codes that can be redeemed for in-game items for the following titles for free, one per day:
- World of Warcraft: Crimson Bow Tie
- Sea of Thieves: Scarlet Stack Sails
- Fallout 76: Mr. Vault Boy Outfit and Mr. Vault Boy Mascot Head
- The Outer Worlds 2: Julius P Canid skin
However, there is some fine print that interested fans should be aware of. First and foremost, this promotion is only available in the UK and EU. Pringles cans in these regions are advertising the game promotion on the physical products, though no purchase is required to obtain the items, despite the website implying otherwise. Unfortunately, players in the US and other regions are unable to make accounts to generate the requisite codes.
What’s more, the promotion requires a smartphone. Attempting to access the Pringles website on PC simply gives users a QR code that must be scanned on a mobile device in order to enter the promo, create an account, and get the codes they need.
How to Get Pringles x WoW, Sea of Thieves, Fallout 76, and The Outer Worlds 2 Promo Items
- Live in UK/EU regions
- Acquire codes and redeem codes generated by a UK/EU user
- Use a VPN to make a Pringles account from the UK/EU
That said, all hope is not lost for fans who don’t meet these requirements. While Pringles account creation is region locked, the codes themselves are not. Though it is unclear if the Fallout 76 items work the same way, as it is distributed through Steam, the codes for World of Warcraft, Sea of Thieves, and The Outer Worlds 2 can all be redeemed on Battle.net in any region. This means EU/UK players with international friends can generate additional codes using extra email accounts and hand them out. Alternatively, gamers have reported that using a VPN allowed them to make a Pringles account and generate the codes themselves successfully without any problems.
Regardless, there’s no rush for players to complete these steps. They have until May 5 to claim and redeem the codes, but items are seemingly not actually being delivered until after then. It is unclear exactly when these items will arrive, but the website states they can be obtained between June 1 and July 5, so the items will likely be delivered virtually around then. It is also unclear what exactly these items look like at the moment: the Crimson Bow Tie for WoW isn’t even available to datamine from the World of Warcraft: Midnight beta, so fans have no idea what they’re actually getting right now. That said, free stuff is free stuff, and with no purchase necessary, it can’t hurt to try and get codes for any games they happen to play.
