The Blundergat returns to Black Ops 7 Zombies with Paradox Junction, a remake of Nuketown Zombies. While the Blundergat can be upgraded with Pack-a-Punch, you can actually unlock a secret variant known as the Sundergat.
If you’re searching for a step-by-step Sundergat upgrade guide, we’ve got you covered. Below, you can find our useful guide on building the Blundergat and how you can use said Blundergat to get the stronger and deadlier Sundergat upgrade!
How to Get the Blundergat in Paradox Junction – Black Ops 7 Zombies
The iconic Wonder Weapon from Mob of the Dead is back in Paradox Junction for Black Ops 7 Zombies. Here is how to get the Blundergat, step-by-step.
How to Build the Sundergat in Paradox Junction
- Build the Blundergat from the Truck Interior in the Cul-De-Sac.
- Enter the destroyed version of Nuketown, and survive for at least 2 Rounds.
- Search around the Green House Backyard, the Yellow House Backyard, and Trinity Avenue for a zombie trapped in a fire tornado.
- Approach the fire tornado zombie to see it fall, where it will begin to chase you.
- Lead the Tortured Zombie to the Truck Interior and kill it with the Blundergat once inside. Other zombies will drain the Tortured Zombie’s health, so make sure they don’t kill him.
- Repeat this step two more times, meaning you’ll have to search for a fire tornado zombie next round, bring it to the truck, and kill it.
- On the third and final attempt, a Shock Mimic will spawn instead, and you will need to lure it to the truck and kill it just like the others.
- Return to the clean version of Nuketown, and enter the Truck Interior, where you can melee the workbench to place the Blundergat inside.
- Return to the destroyed version of Nuketown and melee the workbench in the Truck Interior to pick up the Sundergat.
You cannot exchange the Sundergat for the Blundergat once this exchange is complete. You can, however, Pack-a-Punch the Sundergat into the Holistic Dichotomizer.
How Does the Sundergat Work in Paradox Junction?
Is It Worth Upgrading the Blundergat?
The Blundergat works as a four-barrel shotgun with just one shot before it needs reloading. The Sundergat has a total of two shots, along with a unique firing ability:
- Sunder Shot – Press R2 to fire an explosive blast.
- Sunder Purge – Hold R2 to build up a beat.
- Sunder Exile – Release R2 to release the beat as the gun twinkles to deal more damage.
The Sundergat might seem average, or even worse than the Blundergat at first. However, by upgrading it via Pack-a-Punch, and understanding that Sunder Purge isn’t to build charge, but to release it at the right time based on the sound and visual cue on the gun’s barrel, you will have a far better time.
The Sundergat’s explosive capabilities reward it with splash damage that will wipe out groups of clustered zombies, and it’s pretty effective at killing things. We recommend the Sundergat if you want to train up zombies and fire Sunder Exile. Otherwise, the Blundergat can be just as good.
