Black Ops 7’s First Double XP Event Date Has Leaked

By newsgame

A trusted data miner has discovered evidence that suggests the first Double XP event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will begin on November 25, less than two weeks after the shooter’s launch. Developer Treyarch Studios has yet to confirm exactly when it will host the first Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Double XP event, but the game’s publisher, Activision, has revealed numerous different promotions that allow players to rack up plenty of in-game tokens.

As was the case with 2024’s Black Ops 6, Activision has once again teamed up with the likes of Monster Energy and Little Caesars for Black Ops 7. Players who are looking to collect as many Double XP tokens as possible, alongside some other exclusive rewards, can do so by purchasing qualifying cans of Monster Energy or making a purchase at a Little Caesars. While the former of the two promotions is also available in the UK and Europe, Call of Duty‘s collaboration with Little Caesars is exclusive to United States users.

Black Ops 7’s First Double XP Event May Be Sooner Than Expected

For those who haven’t been able to get their hands on any Double XP tokens for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the wait for an in-game event may not be long. According to trusted data miner and leaker Reality, the first Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Double XP event is expected to begin on Tuesday, November 25, and run through Monday, December 1. While this is an unusually long time for a Double XP event, as most are usually only from Friday to Monday, developer Treyarch Studios may be celebrating the launch of Black Ops 7 with an extended first event.

Activision appears to be making it easier than ever for players to get their hands on Double XP tokens for the latest Call of Duty, as Black Ops 7 fans can get 10 hours’ worth of XP tokens for free. To do so, players simply need to boot up the game before Season 1 begins. Five hours of Double Level XP tokens and five hours of Double Weapon XP tokens will then be added to the user’s account. Unfortunately, there’s no confirmed release date for Season 1 yet, so it’s unknown exactly how long players have to participate in this offer.

Despite Activision’s best efforts to entice FPS fans to the latest Call of Duty entry, Black Ops 7‘s launch numbers have fallen short of Battlefield 6‘s, at least on Steam, anyway. While console figures are unknown, the Call of Duty HQ app, which also encompasses Warzone and Black Ops 6, only peaked at 89,595 concurrent Steam players at the launch of Black Ops 7. When compared with Battlefield 6, which launched to an astonishing 747,000 concurrent players on the platform last month, it’s a night-and-day difference.
