The beloved monster-catching mobile game has given fans plenty to be excited about throughout recent months, with new Pokemon, new Mega Evolutions, and more. Pokemon GO is currently in the midst of its “GO Wild Area: Global” event, with fans around the world able to choose between Dark and Fairy-type Pokemon as a focus. Now, Pokemon GO may be returning to one of the franchise’s most recent regions soon.

Pokemon GO has already featured a plethora of Pokemon from the newest main-series games, with several creatures from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet featured in the game. Niantic first added Pokemon from the Paldea region to the game in late 2023, with the trio of starters being among the first Pokemon to be added from the Spain-themed region. Pokemon GO has slowly continued to add more new Pokemon from the games throughout the years since its release, debuting Tarountula and Spidops earlier this month. A new leak is now hinting at another Paldea-themed event to come in December.
