GeForce Rewards Offering Borderlands 4, ARC Raiders Bonuses Until January 1
Some PC gamers have until January 1 to claim two in-game cosmetics for ARC Raiders and Borderlands 4, both available through GeForce Rewards via separate promotions. While Nvidia is footing the bill for these giveaways, their freebies can also be used in the PlayStation and Xbox versions of ARC Raiders and Borderlands 4—but there’s a catch to doing so.
The main caveat is that since both rewards are tied to the Nvidia App, they can only be claimed by owners of an Nvidia GPU. Or, more specifically, by logging into an Nvidia Account on a PC or a laptop equipped with an Nvidia GPU.
GeForce Rewards Offering Cosmetics for ARC Raiders and Borderlands 4 Until the End of the Month
As of December 26, Nvidia is offering two freebies via its GeForce Rewards program: the “Graphics Violence” ECHO-4 Paintjob for Borderlands 4 and the Emerald Wave Variant of the Electrician Backpack for ARC Raiders. Both are formally available until January 1, 2026, or while supplies last. Although it wouldn’t be unprecedented for a giveaway to end early due to limited supply, such occurrences remain uncommon for GeForce Rewards.

While both rewards can also be used on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, they can only be claimed by GeForce hardware owners.
The Echo-4 Drone skin that is currently on offer has been available to select PC gamers since late November. Meanwhile, the Nvidia-exclusive Electrician Backpack for ARC Raiders only launched in mid-December 2025. Both items can be claimed by opening the Nvidia App, selecting the “Redeem” tab in the left sidebar, then clicking on the desired freebie. This opens a pop-up window with a bright green “Continue to Redeem” button in the bottom-right corner. Clicking it directs users to Nvidia’s official website, which automatically generates a “Redemption Key.” The code must then be redeemed on the website of the applicable developer: Gearbox Software for Borderlands 4 and Embark Studios for ARC Raiders.
How To Claim Borderlands 4 and ARC Raiders GeForce Rewards
- Launch the Nvidia App
- Navigate to the Redeem tab, then select the desired reward:
GeForce Rewards’ SHiFT Codes Are a Bit ‘Smarter’ Than Usual Borderlands 4 Coupons
Most of the usual quirks associated with Gearbox’s SHiFT code giveaways also apply to this GeForce Rewards promotion. As expected, the auto-generated key can be redeemed up to four times, i.e., once per platform on which Borderlands 4 is available: Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Xbox. That said, this particular SHiFT code behaves more intelligently than Gearbox’s standard giveaways. Ordinarily, SHiFT does not track which platforms a user has already redeemed a code for, forcing players to manually remember their previous selections. Even repeat redemption attempts still present every platform as an option, including those that are no longer valid because they’ve already been redeemed.
That’s not the case here, as SHiFT codes generated through GeForce Rewards automatically filter out platforms that have already been claimed, continuing to do so until all eligible versions are exhausted. Game Rant can confirm that this quality-of-life improvement does not extend to older Borderlands 4 SHiFT codes that are still active. For instance, the permanently available T9RJB-BFKRR-3RBTW-B33TB-KCZB9 code from the game’s credits still lacks any form of automatic platform filtering as of December 26. The process of redeeming an ARC Raiders reward is much more straightforward on account of the game’s cross-platform progression that’s tied to an Embark ID. In other words, redeeming a Gift Code once is all that’s needed to get the Electrician Backpack: Emerald Wave Variant in every version of the hit extraction shooter.
