Diablo 4 Light’s Rebuke Drop Location

By newsgame

Light’s Rebuke is one of the numerous Unique items for Paladins that are designed for buffing one of the class’ Core skills. While it’s not the most mind-blowing of items, Light’s Rebuke is still a great option for players who want to focus on using the Divine Lance ability, which allows for some high mobility ranged and melee playstyles. Divine Lance is a fun skill to play around with, and if you have Light’s Rebuke with you, you’ll be able to scale its damage up by a significant margin for Diablo 4’s endgame.

How to Get Light’s Rebuke in Diablo 4

We were able to get a Light’s Rebuke in Diablo 4 after beating the Beast in the Ice lair boss in the Fractured Peaks. Other Diablo 4 players have also reported getting Light’s Rebuke to drop Urivar in the Fields of Judgment, though we are yet to confirm this.

As far as the Beast in the Ice goes, players will need to get 12 Distilled Fear first before they can claim the boss’ treasure hoard. These can be obtained by completing Nightmare Dungeons of any kind. If you want to farm Urivar, then you’ll need to get Judicator’s Masks from World Bosses and Kurast Undercity runs. The latter can also drop randomly from reward chests and bosses during Helltides.

Resplendent Chests inside Nightmare Dungeons also have a fairly decent chance of dropping a random Unique item starting from Torment 3 and above. While you’re farming for Distilled Fear, don’t forget to tag any glowing chest you see along the way. By doing this, you’ll also get a shot to get other Paladin Uniques in Diablo 4.

Light’s Rebuke Unique Effect

Light’s Rebuke greatly increases the damage that Divine Lance deals to enemies it has already impaled. The first hit of Divine Lance always impales enemies, and with Light’s Rebuke equipped, the damage dealt by any subsequent hits you inflict with a single use of Divine Lance is amplified. This weapon also comes with the following affixes:

  • +Strength
  • +Maximum Life
  • +Chance for Divine Lance to Deal Double Damage
  • +Ranks to Divine Lance

Also, since Light’s Rebuke is a flail-type weapon, it comes with a bonus to Vulnerable damage.

Admittedly, Light’s Rebuke’s Unique effect isn’t as fancy as something like that of Red Sermon or Argent Veil. It’s a simple damage boost that makes Divine Lance capable of scaling well into the higher Torment levels. If paired with other Uniques, Legendary Aspects, and Paragon Nodes, Divine Lance becomes more than capable of clearing the majority of Diablo 4’s content comfortably.
