Where to Find All Antique Coins in Resident Evil 7

By newsgame

Resident Evil 7 was the first game in the series to use Antique Coins as a collectible, and the coins can be used in thisgame to redeem rewards from the trailer in the Yard, like the powerful Magnum, and very useful Stabilizer and Steroid consumables. As they’re so useful, it tracks that the coins can be difficult to hunt down, especially in the later parts of the game.

To make things even more complicated, Antique Coins are not found in the same locations if you’re playing on Madhouse difficulty in Resident Evil 7. Plus, there are 33 to collect on Madhouse, while there are only 18 to find on Easy and Normal. This page covers all 18 Antique Coin locations in Resident Evil 7 on the Easy and Normal difficulties.

Updated on February 23, 2026 by Jessica Orr: Antique Coins are a very helpful collectible to hunt down (while the Bakers hunt you down) because they reward handy items like the Magnum, and consumables that permanently buff’s Ethan’s firepower and health. You also get a Trophy/Achievement for finding all 18 on the regular difficulties, and 33 on Madhouse, so there are multiple reasons to make finding them a priority. To help you get them all, we’ve updated this guide with lots of pictures (including map pictures) to cut the time you spend searching for them.

Antique Coin Location 1

The first Antique Coin in Resident Evil 7 is highly missable, as it’s located in a locked drawer in the kitchen of the Guest House 1F. You actually have to find the lockpick outside as Clancy while watching the “Derelict House Footage” and unlock the drawer as him first, so that Ethan can open the drawer and find the coin later. The third picture above is the location of the lockpick when playing as Clancy.

Antique Coin Location 2

You’ll find this Antique Coin on top of the red lawnmower in the passage that leads between the Pantry and the Laundry Room.

Antique Coin Location 3

This Antique Coin is located in the northwestern drawer of the Main Hall of Main House 1F.

Antique Coin Location 4

The fourth Antique Coin is located beside the Bobblehead in the basket inside the Recreation Room 2F of the Main House, on the northeastern side close to the room where you get the Broken Shotgun in Resident Evil 7.

Antique Coin Location 5

The fifth Antique Coin in Resident Evil 7 is found inside the toilet in the Bathroom on 2F of the Main House.

Antique Coin Location 6

You’ll find this Antique Coin in the ashtray on the table of the room that connects the Main Hall to the Drawing Room in the Main House. Ethan comes through here after solving the shadow puzzle and shimmying is way through the wall into the Drawing Room, on his way to getting the Dog Heads in Resident Evil 7.

Antique Coin Location 7

The next Antique Coin Ethan can pick up is located behind the wooden palette in Processing Area B1 of the Main House, with the palette found beside the light blue door Ethan has to pull open.

Antique Coin Location 8

Finally out of the Baker’s main house, you’ll find the eighth Antique Coin in a pot on the southeastern corner of the Yard. Take a right when you exit the Main House to get to it.

Antique Coin Location 9

This Antique Coin is located inside the trailer in the Yard, on the table where the Magnum is in Resident Evil 7. If you’ve been following along with this guide, you’ll now have enough coins to get the Magnum if you like. Just keep in mind that it’s best used against difficult bosses, as Magnum ammo is scarce.

Antique Coin Location 10

Ethan can pick up this Antique Coin from a trolley by the Cellar of the Old House.

Antique Coin Location 11

Sticking to the Old House, this Antique Coin in Resident Evil 7 is located on top of the toilet in the outhouse directly north of the Dining Room.

Antique Coin Location 12

The last Antique Coin inside the Old House is found in a drawer near the Altar, beside the door that requires Marguerite’s lantern to open.

Antique Coin Location 13

This next Antique Coin is located in a drawer near the start of the Testing Area 1F, inside the small room lined with lots of explosives. We recommend shooting the explosives before you enter, as it’ll be easier to navigate that way.

Antique Coin Location 14

This Antique Coin is located on a shelf beside the corpse with the “You’re Next” note pinned to it, on 2F of the Testing Area.

Antique Coin Location 15

The next Antique Coin is picked up by Mia, and you’ll find it in the vents of Wrecked Ship S1, right after Mia has her first flashback of two people talking in the room containing the vent entrance. You have to go through the vents as part of the story.

Antique Coin Location 16

This Antique Coin is also found by Mia, in the water inside the small room with two ladders of the Wrecked Ship S1. As it’s underwater, you can’t see the coin, but look down while you’re moving around in this area until you see the prompt to pick it up.

Antique Coin Location 17

You need to use a lockpick to get this Antique Coin from the lockbox located in the Control Room of Wrecked Ship 3F. A lockpick is found in the Shaft room of 3F on the ship (the third picture above shows the lockpick’s location.)

Antique Coin Location 18

You need at least one Corrosive to get the very last Antique Coin in Resident Evil 7, as it is found inside a sealed box on the wall of the corridor northeast of No. 1 Engine Room on Wrecked Ship S2. It’s located during the big Molded chase where lots of enemies spawn on your way towards the Cargo Bay.
