Annihilape is a Fighting/Ghost-type Pokemon with a unique evolution method, and players may have forgotten how it works.

How to Get Mankey in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Mankey Location

Mankey can be found in a 1-Star Fighting-type Hyperspace Wild Zone in Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s Mega Dimension DLC during the post-game. Players can also catch a Mankey during the introductory sequence of the Mega Dimension DLC. However, if they miss the opportunity, the only way to catch one is inside a 1-Star Hyperspace Wild Zone that contains Fighting-type Pokemon.

Every Hyperspace Wild Zone in the Mega Dimension contains three Pokemon by default. In Fighting-type Hyperspaces, there is no guarantee that the Pokemon you are looking for will be available. Hyperspace Wild Zones can be rerolled by waiting at a bench and changing the time of day.

Mankey evolves into Primeape at level 28, and Primeape can evolve into Annihilape by using the move Rage Fist 20 times. Primeape learns Rage Fist via natural level-up at 35. Here’s a step-by-step process of what you need to do to get Annihilape in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

Catch a Mankey in a 1-Star Hyperspace Wild Zone (Fighting-type).
Level up Mankey to level 28 and evolve it into Primeape.
Level up Primeape to level 35 and have it learn the move Rage Fist from the move relearning menu.
Use Rage Fist 20 times.
Evolve Primeape into Annihilape.

How to Use Rage Fist 20 Times

The easiest way to use Rage Fist 20 times is to hit the Justice Dojo’s target dummy and spam Rage Fist over and over until the requirements are met. You can also visit low-level Wild Zones where the Pokemon cannot deal any damage to the Primeape, but the training dummy method is faster.
