Where Winds Meet: Lost Quotes Walkthrough

Lost Quotes is a Wandering Tale in Where Winds Meet, where players have to find three volumes of Master Miaoshan’s Quotes for Huijing in the Bodhi Sea. The game offers no quest markers to guide players to the location of these three items, leaving them to mostly fend for themselves aside from a few vague clues.

Lost Quotes Walkthrough

Huijing Location

Head to the location marked on the map above to find Huijing pacing beside a large building. Talk to him to find out that he is looking for three lost volumes of Master Miaoshan’s Quotes and needs you to find them for him. The only clues he offers are:

• Maybe greedy people found them. Maybe thieves stole them. Or perhaps they’re somewhere Buddha wanted.

The three clues presented about the Lost Quotes’ locations point toward where players should look when searching for them. One book is in the possession of a “greedy person” and can be seized back from them, one book was stolen by thieves and can be retrieved from their den, and one book is in a holy location. Here are the locations.

Lost Quotes 1 Location

From the Bloomveil Monastery Outpost, head southwest to find a stone stele in a clearing. Read the inscription, and it will tell you: “Bow with sincerity, and look at the sun at Wu hour.”

Use the in-game clock to change the time of day to the Wu hour and perform the Bow action twice on the green mat nearby. If done correctly, a treasure box at the foot of the stele will crack open, containing Miaoshan’s Quotes 1.

Lost Quotes 2 Location

Directly north of the Bloomveil Monastery Outpost (west of the Teleport stone) is an NPC named Wang Er, who is standing on the edge of the cliff overlooking the scenery nearby. Use Celestial Seize to steal Miaoshan’s Quotes 2 volume from his possession.

Lost Quotes 3 Location–

Head to the location marked on the map above to find a cave entrance at ground level, heading deep underground. The cave is inhabited by Aureate Pavilion guard enemies. Defeat all of them, and you’ll find Miaoshan’s Quotes 3 on a wooden box next to a campfire that’s just to the right of where you fight the Aureate Commander.

Lost Quotes Rewards

Return to Huijing and submit all three Lost Quotes to him to receive the following rewards:

• Echo Jade x40
• Qinghe Exploration x10
• Coin x5000
• Character EXP x5000 (or Stored EXP x5000)
