Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s Paradox Junction is the latest map to debut for Season 2 Reloaded. While most players may be jumping in and completing the map’s Main Easter Egg Quest to bag themselves free rewards, there are also some neat side secrets. One such Easter Egg rewards players with a guaranteed free Aether Tool to upgrade their weapons. Here is how to get and use the Lost Key in Paradox Junction.

Step #1: Obtain Death Perception
For the very first step, you will need to get Death Perception. The most surefire way of doing this is, of course, purchasing it from the Death Perception Perk Machine over in the future version of Nuketown. It can often be found in the Green House, though its location can change.
Step #2: Find the Lost Key in the Plant Pots in the Past, Five Times
The next step needs to be done in the past version of Nuketown. Once here, you will need to locate a key in one of several different plant pots around the map. Death Perception will reveal the key to you, and once you find the plant pot with the key in it, shoot it. The catch here is that the key will jump between five different plant pots, so you will have to shoot five in total.
These plant pots can be found in the following locations:
- Underneath the Green House staircase at the Green House Backyard
- On the second floor of the Green House, directly on the desk to the right of the backdoor
- Hanging above the red garage door on the north side of Cul-De-Sac
- Hanging to the right of the white front door to the Yellow House
- Underneath the Yellow House Staircase in the Yellow House Backyard
- Hanging next to the first white door you will see when heading into Trinity Avenue (take the first right)
Once you find the key for the fifth time and shoot the plant pot, the Lost Key will be dropped onto the ground. Loot this item and progress to the final step.
Step #3: Use the Lost Key to Open the Suitcase at the Green House
For the final step, head up to the bedroom on the second floor of the Green House. Here you will find a suitcase which you can now open using the Lost Key. Inside you will find a guaranteed Aether Tool to upgrade your weapon rarity, along with Salvage. The Aether Tool can also scale in rarity if you are at a higher round, with the max rarity being a Legendary Aether Tool.
