Where Winds Meet: Charm Pouch Walkthrough

Charm Pouch is a Wandering Tale in Where Winds Meet, where players are tasked to retrieve three coin bags scattered across the Halo Peak region of Qinghe. Like many other Wandering Tales, there are no quest markers to indicate where to find these three charm pouches, nor any direct clues pointing to their exact location in-game.

Players are only told that the coin pouches the wife is looking for are likely to be found in the immediate surroundings of Halo Peak and no further. However, that is still a lot of ground to cover, and with no guiding markers, the search can be quite time-consuming. Here’s where you can find these coin bags.

Charm Pouch Wandering Tale Walkthrough

Look for Aunt Guo near a small bamboo grove directly west of the Halo Peak teleport stone. She can be found bent over some rocks by the side of the road, appearing to be searching for something. Talk to her, and she will tell you that a wandering master has told her husband to place three charmed coin bags at places filled with heavenly energy to ward off evil spirits, but Aunt Guo thinks the master is actually a scammer and wants to retrieve the coin bags as quickly as possible. The only problem is that Aunt Guo does not know where her husband has hidden these coin bags, only that they are nearby.

All three blessed coin pouches needed to complete the Charm Pouch Wandering Tale can be found in the Halo Peak region. Their exact locations are shown in the map screenshot above.

Coin Bag #1 Location

From Aunt Guo’s location, head up the stone staircase to climb up the mountain, and you’ll come across a large pond occupied by a fisherman. Past this pond is a small wooden bridge over a large chasm that drops down to another pond below. Drop down and defeat the Bear occupying this area. Activate Wind Sense (V) and look behind you, and you’ll see a cave entrance blocked by some brambles. Use a Fire Arrow to burn away the blockade. Inside, you’ll find the “Evil” Coin Bag lying on a stone, to the left of the chest.

Coin Bag #2 Location

Climb up to the top of the mountain located west of Aunt Guo’s location, and you’ll find a large Pagoda-shaped tower situated on the peak. Next to this tower is a small shrine right next to the edge. Look behind the shrine to find a circular disc on the mountain side. Jump up and slam down (Q) on this pressure plate to activate the mechanism, which will unlock a treasure in the small shrine. Right next to the treasure box is the “Omen” Coin Bag.

Coin Bag #3 Location

At the foot of the mountain is an enemy camp filled with monks. Clear the enemy camp and activate your Wind Sense to locate the third and final “End” Coin Bag next to a fish drying rack near the mountain face.

Return to Aunt Guo and hand in the three Coin Bags to complete the quest. You will receive the following rewards for clearing the quest:

1. Echo Jade x40
2. Qinghe Exploration x10
3. Coin x5000
4. Character EXP x5000
