Astra Malorum Easter Egg Walkthrough – CoD BO7

Here’s an easy step-by-step guide that will take you through the entire main easter egg quest for Astra Malorum in Black Ops 7 Zombies!

What Does the Shiny Trinket Do in Astra Malorum? (BO7)

How to Get Bongo, the Friendly Ravagar Companion

  • The Shiny Trinket is used to get a free Ravager ally.

Once you’ve defeated O.S.C.A.R., he will drop the Shiny Trinket toy for you to take as part of your Tactical Equipment. With the Shiny Trinket, you will now need to explore the map in search of a Ravager with glowing green eyes who is hiding behind a zombie barrier. This Ravager can spawn almost anywhere, but common locations are within the barriers of The Luminarum, Archive of Orbis, and Machina Astralis. You will be able to find the Ravager easily by looking at your minimap and noting the white dot behind the barrier.

Once you’ve found the Ravager hiding behind the zombie barrier, you will want to throw the Shiny Trinket at him. This will see the Ravager eat the Shiny Trinket, and you’ll need to then proceed to the next round, where you must once again find the Ravager behind a barrier and feed him the Shiny Trinket. Repeat this on the next round for the third and final time, and the friendly Ravager named Bongo will jump out of the barrier and become your friend.

Bongo the Ravager does not deal a lot of damage, but he does have a lot of health to distract zombies. It’s a fun side easter egg that proves that the Shiny Trinket does have a purpose.
