How to Complete A Honey of a Problem in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Tigger, one of the most loved characters from Winnie the Pooh, is now part of Disney Dreamlight Valley thanks to the Wishblossom Ranch DLC. It does take a while to unlock him since he is usually one of the last characters you reach in Pixie Acres.
Once Tigger joins your valley, you can start working on his quests right away. His first one is called A Honey of a Problem, and here’s how you can complete it.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: All Wishblossom Ranch Cooking Recipes
The Wishblossom Ranch DLC brings tons of new, delicious recipes to Disney Dreamlight Valley. Here’s a quick look at all the new recipes you can make.
A Honey of a Problem Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
In A Honey of a Problem, you discover that a bunch of bees have taken over Tigger’s house. Your first job is to help him get rid of them.
Start by clearing the fallen beehive debris in the Hundred-Acre Fields. They look like big flowers, and you can find them pretty easily. Hop on your horse and use it to remove the debris.
After players clear the fallen beehive debris, they will need to make some new giant beehives and a bit of “bee-soothing” furniture. For that, you’ll need a few materials.
10 x Honeycomb Stones
Players can mine Honeycomb Stones from any rock in Pixie Acres. They sound tasty, but they are definitely not for eating. Since you need ten of them, it helps a lot if you bring a mining partner so you can collect them faster.
4 x Grassy Ore
While you are already mining in Pixie Acres, you can grab Grassy Ore from the same rocks. You don’t need many, so you will usually get these pretty quickly.
12 x Giant Acorns
Giant Acorns are the easiest to get. To get them, equip your shovel and start digging in the Pixie Acres biome.
6 x Honey Coral
Honey Coral comes from fishing. Players can fish in any water body around Pixie Acres. Look for the white ripples and cast your line there to pull some up.
12 x Hardwood
Hardwood doesn’t seem to spawn in the new Wishblossom Mountains world. You will have to go back to the main valley for it. You can find plenty in Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Frosted Heights, and the Glade of Trust.
14 x Clay
While you are still in Dreamlight Valley, you can also grab some Clay. You can dig it up in the Glade of Trust, Forgotten Lands, and Sunlit Plateau.
Lily of the Valley Flowers
For the last step, you will need to pick up four Blue Lily of the Valley, two Purple ones, and three Yellow ones. All of these grow naturally around the Pixie Acres biome, so walk around and gather them as you see them.
Once you have everything, find a crafting table and make three Giant Beehives, two Honeycomb Picnic Tables, and one Fairy Harp. After crafting, place them all in the Hundred-Acre Fields to finish this part of the quest.
Talk to Snow White
After placing everything and heading back to Tigger’s house, you will see the bees are still buzzing around. Tigger then suggests talking to Snow White for help.
Snow White explains that every hive needs a queen, and the bees in Tigger’s house don’t have one. So you need to dress up like a Bee Queen yourself. To do that, you will have to craft Honey Perfume and a Royal Bee Crown. Here’s what you need:
3 x Goose Feathers
You can get Goose Feathers by fishing in Pixie Acres. But make sure you are casting your line outside of the ripples.
2 x Honey Coral
You already know how to get Honey Coral from the steps above.
2 x Pyrite
Pyrite is a new gem in DDV. Players can get it by mining in the Wishing Alps area.
1 x Red Silk Flower
You can find Red Silk Flowers in Glamour Gulch, the same place where you first met Cruella de Vil. You only need one, so it won’t take long.
Fairy Sprinkles
Fairy Sprinkles is a spice-type ingredient. Players can find it lying on the ground in the Pixie Acres biome.
Once you have everything, you’ll have to craft the Royal Bee Crown and the Honey Perfume. Use the perfume from your inventory, then make your way to Tigger’s house to lure the bees outside.
Next, you need to catch three swarms of bees at Sundae Shores. One swarm is on the beach, another is near the waterfall, and the last one is by the Modish Marsh path. The bees move around a lot, so it would be better to use your horse to catch them.
After you’ve caught all three swarms, take them back to the Giant Beehives you placed earlier. Once you release the bees into the hives, the quest is complete.
