Best Carbon 57 Loadout in Black Ops 7
The Carbon 57 may be a nostalgic option for those who played Black Ops 4, but it’s definitely a mixed bag when for Black Ops 7 specifically. The gun boasts below-average damage combined with a fairly high fire rate, which definitely makes it viable but not exactly the quickest-killing option at close range. It’s also the slowest of the SMGs, with the lowest movement speed, sprint-to-fire speed, and ADS speed to boot.
While the description of the weapon says its recoil is respectable, it’s definitely on the high end when it comes to horizontal shake. However, the weapon’s damage range is good for an SMG, with the initial damage drop-off beginning at 15 meters as opposed to 9 or 12 for most other SMGs in its class. The weapon also boasts an incredibly large 50-round magazine by default, whereas other weapons tend to cap out at 30. Read on for the best build.

Carbon 57 Loadout Benefits
The build showcased above mostly focuses on speeding up the weapon’s handling attributes, such as ADS speed and slide-to-fire speed, to keep up with other faster SMGs. Damage range also receives a boost to keep the weapon competitive in the medium range. Most importantly, vertical recoil and horizontal recoil have been adjusted to make the weapon more accurate for gunfights that fall just beyond the 15-meter range.
With a Gunfighter setup, players can also put more attachment points into boosting mobility, as well as speeding up the weapon’s reload speed, ADS speed, and sprint-to-fire speed. Doing so brings the Carbon 57 up a notch, making it a decent Submachine Gun with a bit more versatility over some other options at medium range, like the Dravec 45.
