Pathologic 3 follows the same narrative as the previous games, but this time, players take on the shoes of Daniil Dankovsky, a Bachelor of Medicine and the lead researcher for the Thanatica lab. The Bachelor will also venture into the strange town for 12 days, and it’s up to the players to decide his fate and the fate of the town.

The timeline of the game will start on Day 1, then immediately jump to Day 5. Afterward, players can choose which Day they want to take a peek at, or possibly alter. To do so, the Bachelor must gain the ability to see the past in Pathologic 3. Here’s how to travel through time using the clocks around the town.

The Prototype in Pathologic 3 is a crucial device that helps players travel through the Miasma without losing their minds.

How To See The Past (Time Travel) In Pathologic 3

To see the past and travel through time in Pathologic 3, you must complete the tasks on Day 5, which are to:

Find Rubin
Go meet the Kain
Speak to Isidor

While traveling through the areas, you may find a clock that notifies Daniil’s ability to mess with time. However, the ability is unavailable until the Bachelor completes the required missions.

After finding Rubin’s shadow, meeting Isidor’s locked door, and enjoying the Kain’s hospitality, Daniil will fall into despair.

The Bachelor’s desperation will slowly fill his Apathy bar, after which he will lose the will to live and end his own life. This is the intended flow in the story, so don’t feel bad about Daniil “dying,” as the event is inevitable.

Instead of heading to the afterlife, Daniil found himself in a mirror room with a shadow inside. Speak to the mysterious figure, then follow its instructions to go back to the world.

Now, whether you’ve been there or not, Daniil will wake up in the Stillwater guest house. Explore the house, then head up the stairs to eventually meet Eva.

After speaking with Eva, you can now see the past using the clock.

Depending on which Day you choose, you can experience different events with Daniil. For example, choosing Day 2 will take you to Day 3, when the Bachelor supposedly opens a hospital.

But, choosing Day 4 will have a different outcome, where the Bachelor can change the events that happened today (on Day 5), and redo Day 4 all over again.

How To Pass The Time In Pathologic 3

Other than seeing the past, you can also do a time skip in Pathologic 3. To skip the time, head to the top floor in the guest house and find Daniil’s bed.
