Sturdy Chitin Location

Sturdy Chitin can be obtained by killing the following creatures in the Howling Sands (Zone 2) desert region in Hytale.

Tortoise
Scorpion
Armadillo
Scarak Defender
Scarak Fighter
Scarak Louse
Scarak Seeker
Scarak Broodmother

Tortoise Location

Tortoises can be found on the coastlines of the Howling Sands (Zone 2) region in Hytale, at the same location where you find Palm trees and sandy beaches. They are often hiding inside their shells and only appear as a block of green mass from afar. Tortoises are non-aggressive, meaning you do not have to worry about being attacked back when farming them for Sturdy Chitin.

Armadillo

Armadillos appear in almost every location in the Howling Sands (Zone 2) region of Hytale, though they are more commonly found in the red sand areas and on top of mountains and dunes. They have light-brown scales that blend in with the sand, making them somewhat tricky to spot in the open desert. Like Tortoises, these animals are also non-hostile.

Scorpion

Scorpions can be found in every biome located in the desert, including beaches, dunes, ruins, and oases. They have dark brown scales, a white skeletal mask, and a blue glow on their pincers and sting. They are highly aggressive and deal poison damage. However, since they are typically solitary in nature, it is relatively easy to take them down if you come prepared.

Scarak Enemies

Scarak monsters can be found inside and near Scarak nests in the Howling Sands in Hytale. Scarak nests can be found inside fossil sites, the dark red sand areas in the desert, where you can find large animal bones.

Scarak nests look like tall, thick pillars of red mud that extend out of the earth, but what you see on the surface is only the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. These nests extend deep underground, like mineshafts, teeming with all sorts of Scarak monsters, all ready to fight.

Scarak Seeker	The Seekers are the wasp-like creatures that circle around the nests above ground. These can only be found on the surface. In addition to swarming near the locations where the entrances to the nests are, the Seekers patrol the entire desert and can be found basically everywhere where you can find sand.
