How to Change Time of Day in Hytale
In Hytale’s Adventure mode, the only way to change the time of day is by resting in a bed at night. Doing so changes the time of day from nighttime to daytime, allowing players to avoid dealing with the increased difficulty and special mobs that only spawn at night. Players are only allowed to sleep in a bed after 7:30 PM (in-game).
By default, one minute of real time equals 30 minutes of in-game time, meaning a full day/night cycle takes 48 minutes of real time. This speed can be manually changed when creating a World in Hytale from the Day/Night Cycle drop-down.
In order to sleep, players will need to craft a bed or a bedroll. The very first bed that can be made in Hytale is a Crude Bedroll, which can be crafted straight from the inventory with 3 Plant Fiber and 2 Light Hide. For subsequent beds, however, players will need to build the Furniture Workbench.
