How to Earn Contribution Medals in Heartopia

Complete Resident Requests

You can only earn Contribution Medals by completing Resident Requests in Heartopia. These are small tasks that involve helping different town residents, and they can be fairly straightforward, as demonstrated in the video above.

You unlock this system pretty early in the game. Every day, you get five requests. Make sure you finish them, because if you don’t, they reset the next day, and you’ll lose the chance to earn those medals.

You can check your daily Resident Requests by tapping the calendar icon at the top of the screen. This opens a list of all the requests available for that day. Players don’t have to accept all of them right away. You can choose which ones you want to do.

At the start of each day, you’ll see five requests waiting for you. Once you accept a request, you can also track it, which makes things easier. For example, if a request asks you to collect 10 raspberries, tracking it will show how many you’ve already collected and how many are still left.

Each request also shows its reward. From what we’ve seen, completing a request usually gives you Gold, Wishing Stars, and Contribution Medals. The exact amount may vary depending on the task’s complexity.

What Are They Used For?

Contribution Medals are used to level up your D.G. Member’s Guild. To do this, Heartopians will need to open the smartwatch from the top right of the screen and tap on D.G. Member’s Guild, which is the first option.

If you have enough Contribution Medals, you will see the word ‘Upgradeable’ on it. Click on it, then press ‘Upgrade’ at the bottom right. Leveling up your D.G. unlocks new features, hobbies, recipes, and much more.
