The UV Detection Tower in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check will be unlocked on Day 19, and will be useful in scanning for hidden infection symptoms. Upon activating the UV Detection Tower, the area will be flooded with UV light that will reveal signs of infection on either the backpack items or the survivor themselves.

To activate the UV Detection Tower, you’ll need to press the small button on the Contraband inspection desk. Pressing the button will activate the UV light for a limited time, during which you can either inspect the baggage or the survivor themselves. You’ll need to wait for it to charge back up before using it again, which takes a couple of seconds.
