However, this step-by-step guide on how to unlock Mana and Magic Spells in Hytale will make things easier for those looking to become archmages and dominate the lands of Hytale. Let’s talk about the Arcanist’s Workbench and how players can use it to unleash powerful spells on monsters.

How To Unlock Spells in Hytale

The first step to unlock Spells in Hytale is to find the Forgotten Temple and unlock Memories, which are a sort of collectible that also unlocks an important part of Magic in Hytale: Portals. Once players have completed this ‘quest,’ they need to craft an Arcanist’s Bench, and for that, they’ll need a particular material: Thorium.

This green-looking ore can be found in the Desert Biome or in Underground Lava Caves, both dangerous places that only players will full Iron Sets should explore.

Players need 30 Linen Cloth, 30 Thorium Ingots, and 20 Essence of the Void (which can be obtained by slaying enemies during the night), to craft the Arcanist’s Bench using the Workbench.
