Xbox Game Pass Subscribers Can Now Stream Another 48 of Their Own Games

By newsgame

One of the first Xbox Game Pass updates of the year has just arrived, and it’s added 48 games to Xbox’s ‘Stream Your Own Game’ library. This latest Xbox Game Pass update brings popular titles like Disco Elysium, Planet Coaster, and Just Cause 3 to the Cloud-based service.

Introduced in 2024 but finally made available on consoles in April 2025, Xbox’s ‘Steam Your Own Game’ service allows users to play some of the games they’ve purchased via Cloud streaming. The catch is that, as well as having to own the game, the user must be actively subscribed to Xbox Game Pass in order to stream the title. That said, users don’t need to be subscribed to Xbox Game Pass’ Ultimate tier to access this streaming service, they can access it at any Game Pass tier, including the cheapest option, Xbox Game Pass Essential.

First reported on by TrueAchievements, the latest Xbox Game Pass update for January 2026 has added nearly 50 games to the ‘Stream Your Own Game’ library. These games can now all be played via Cloud streaming on a range of devices, including PCs, Xbox consoles, and handhelds such as the ROG Xbox Ally. Along with the aforementioned Just Cause 3, Disco Elysium, and Planet Coaster, some other heavy hitters on this list include Tropico 6, Little Nightmares 3, and Bloons TD 6.

TrueAchievement’s Sean Carey also pointed out in their report that Titan Quest 2 has just received an official Cloud streaming tag on Xbox despite the game not being officially out yet on Xbox consoles. Released onto Steam Early Access on August 1, 2025, Titan Quest 2 has received several major updates since launch, but there’s been little official word on when it could release fully on PC and other platforms. This recent Cloud streaming tag might suggest that Titan Quest 2 could arrive soon on Xbox, but that’s far from an official confirmation from developer Grimoire Games or publisher THQ Nordic.

When Xbox’s Stream Your Own Game service debuted on consoles back in April 2025, it did so with well over 100 games. That list grew exponentially with each passing month, with hundreds of new titles arriving during the course of 2025. September alone saw over 180 games come to the service. Some of the biggest additions to Xbox Game Pass’ Stream Your Own Game library in 2025 include Silent Hill 2, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Resident Evil 2 and 3, Borderlands 4, Helldivers 2, and Dying Light: The Beast. It seems very likely Xbox will continue adding new games to this service throughout 2026, especially if the company maintains its “Xbox Play Anywhere” marketing strategy.
