Hobbies are an important part of the game because they not only give you fun activities to do but also help you earn coins, experience, and Contribution Badges to unlock new items and upgrades. How to Unlock All Hobbies in Heartopia
Heartopia currently has seven main hobbies: Fishing, Gardening, Insect Catching, Bird Watching, Cooking, Cat Care, and Dog Care. All hobbies require a Hobby Expansion Ticket to unlock. These tickets are earned by completing tutorial quests, increasing your developer rank, or simply progressing through the game. They are limited, so you’ll need to use them wisely.

Fishing is unlocked during the early tutorial. Vanya, the Fishing Mentor, pays a visit to your house with a fishing rod and a Hobby Expansion Ticket. You need to use the ticket to unlock Fishing right away. |

How to Upgrade Hobbies in Heartopia
Once a hobby is unlocked, you can upgrade it using Hobby Upgrade Tickets. The more you perform hobby actions, like fishing, gardening, or catching insects, the more you’ll earn proficiency points. Completing collections and finding new items gives bonus points.
When you reach the level cap for your current hobby, open your hobby menu, select the hobby, and use a Hobby Upgrade Ticket to level it up. Upgrading hobbies unlocks more recipes, better success rates, and other bonuses, making them more rewarding.
