StarRupture Prism Herb Location
Prism Herb is one of the critical components of many useful consumables in StarRupture, and players will need lots of them to unlock crafting recipes and break into the endgame of this incredible survival builder. But this rare plant is a bit hard to find, and with the devastating Rupture Waves happening every few minutes, it gets really difficult to farm them.
Luckily, we’ve pinpointed the location of a decent farming spot for these plants, to help players get enough of these crafting materials to unlock everything in their Food Station. Craft the ultimate consumables to resist every major hazard in Arcadia-7 with this step-by-step guide on how to get Prism Herbs in StarRupture.
How To Get Water In StarRupture
Survival game is incomplete without hydration mechanics, and that’s also a thing in StarRupture.
Prism Herb Location in StarRupture
Prism Herb is a plant that looks like lavender, and usually grows near water ponds (like Hydrobulbs). Players can identify them by their purplish-blue color and the colorful butterfly-like bugs that swarm around them.
The locations of these plants are often related to mid/late game zones, especially those marked as prime sites to build bases, like the Mid-Eastern zone of Arcadia-7 or The Reach. It grows near the middle of the map in ponds or near rivers, but far away from zones with high concentrations of Vermin and radiation.
There’s a pond near a hill in the eastern zone of the map, going to the right from the Orbital Lander (first spawn zone). If players continue going straight past the Abandoned Settlement, they will reach a high-ground area (hills) and then a plateau. Past the plateau, there are various critical resources, including Quartz, Sulfur, Pure Titanium, Wolfram, and Helium-3.
But the most important part of this area is the Pond in the middle, which has lots of Hydrobulbs to farm and a small island in the middle of it with lots of Prism Herbs.
Remember that all plant life in Arcadia-7 is incinerated when a Rupture Wave happens. Players need to wait between waves to farm plants in StarRupture, since everything grows back really fast after the planet returns to normal. Waves are set to happen periodically at random, so there’s no exact way to know when one hits. If this happens when players are away from their base, they can quickly farm a Meteorite and build a small base to protect themselves.
How to Increase Corrosion Resistance in StarRupture
If you want to explore some areas of the map in StarRupture, you’ll need to increase your corrosion resistance. Here’s how to do exactly that.
Prism Herbs are required to unlock the recipes for:
- Calorie Chew (Restores 40 Calories)
- Aqua Chew (Restores 100 Hydration)
- Nutri Chew (Restores 30 Calories and 40 Hydration)
- Energy Boost Chew (Triples Energy Regeneration. Adds 40 Toxicity).
- Infection Res Plasm (Doubles Infection Resistance for 10 minutes. Adds 40 Toxicity).
Players will need around 200 Prism Herbs to unlock all of these recipes, plus more to craft these consumables. The Infection Res Plasm and Energy Boost Chew are especially useful to fight against swarms of Vermin. Players can buff themselves with these consumables to jump into a swarm of these vile creatures and farm their Biofacts, biological samples that they can pick up and deliver to the Analysis Station to farm Data Points.
