If you’re trying to complete the Heartopia Resident Request called ‘Settling Down,’ you’ll need to earn at least 1200 Gold by selling fish or grown crops and also unlocking four home plots (we’ve covered home plots in this guide right here).

You can keep reading to find out the easiest way to sell your caught fish in Heartopia so you can complete the early side quest and also keep earning Gold to purchase other useful things, like items, clothing, and more.

If you open your Watch (Tab button on PC), you can click on Memo to see your current Main and Side Quests. Go ahead and tab over to the middle column (Q/E) to check out the Daily Resident Requests.

You can track the Settling Down quest in this menu, and the game will lead you toward the NPC that will buy pretty much any item from your backpack in exchange for Gold. The Gold Merchant, Albert Jr, is hanging out near your home at the beginning of your adventure, but he might be somewhere else on the world map later on. So, if he’s not in front of your house, you should be able to just look at the world map and track him down that way.

Once you find him, speak to him and then choose the ‘Sell Items’ option. You can then review your inventory and select the items you want to sell.

After unlocking the four home plots and getting 1200 Gold from selling, you can complete the Settling Down request and get the following as a reward:

  • 15 Contribution Medals (Used for upgrading your D.G. Member’s Guild level)
  • 5 Wishing Stars (For clothing and furniture)
  • 2000 Gold
