How to Get Synthetic Silicon Blueprint in StarRupture

By newsgame

As you begin to progress through the levels of each corporation in StarRupture, you’ll need to start creating more and more complex resources and materials to complete their latest missions. While some of these simply require you to combine some of the materials you’ve already refined from basic ores, others need you to unlock their recipes. This is where blueprints come in. They’re used to unlock crafting recipes for your various machines. If you need the Synthetic Silicon blueprint in StarRupture, this guide will show you exactly whereto go.

How to Get Calcium in StarRupture

Calcium is the third main ore you’ll need to send to the corporations in StarRupture. Here’s where to find calcium ore deposits.

StarRupture Synthetic Silicon Blueprint Location

The easiest place to get the Synthetic Silicon blueprint is from the GRO “Mythic Cry” Griffith’s Research Outpost in the far north of your starting base. I’ve marked the exact location on the screenshot below with a red box, and then used a yellow box for the starting base location so you can get a good idea of the journey you’ll need to make.

My journey to the Mythic Cry research outpost is also marked with the dotted line in the screenshot. It required me to go past the CRO “Grey Owl” Claywood’s Research Outpost, where you can find the Stabilizer blueprint, and continue northwest through the more barren part of the map, where there’s plenty of calcium to reach it.

There are a few things to note along the way. Once you reach the “Grey Owl” research outpost, you want to continue heading in a northwest direction until you reach a patch of calcium ore veins in the ground. From here, you’ll then want to head north until you see some glowing orange flora on a hillside, shown in the screenshot below.

Don’t walk through the orange flora, as it will drain your energy and make you walk incredibly slowly. If any vermin have been chasing you through this area, or if they spot you from the Mythic Cry research outpost, this can make fighting them trickier than it needs to be.

As soon as you get towards the top of the hill, get ready for a fight. A horde of Vermin will come your way, so make sure you’ve got some weapons better than the pistol at range, and have ideally got your grenade and medtool fully charged.

After taking care of the Vermin, head into the “Mythic Cry” research outpost. Use your pistol or harvesting tool to destroy any of the blue growths on buildings to prevent Vermin from respawning, and head to the far end of the outpost. Climb up the stairs and follow the path around. At the very end of this, you should see a hole in the roof that you can drop down into.

Head inside and look for the blue storage box on the floor right in front of you. Open it up, and you’ll find the Synthetic Silicon blueprint. Like with other blueprints, as soon as you add it to your inventory, another horde of Vermin will spawn around you, so be ready for another fight.

Return the blueprint to your Recipe Station, and you can insert it along with 600 Ceramics, 800 Calcium Powder, 2,000 Helium, and 600 Data Points to unlock the ability to make Synthetic Silicon at the Furnace.
