How to Get Custom Passives in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road

By newsgame

Once a character reaches Level 50 in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, a slot will unlock in their Abilearn Board that can be filled with a Custom Passive. Exactly where Custom Passives come from is not made clear, though, and players may be confused about what activity awards them. This guide is here to alleviate that confusion, and it will help players get their hands on Custom Passives in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.

Custom Passives provide a variety of benefits, from increasing Shot AT to raising Castle Wall DF and beyond.

Free Matches

Players can earn Custom Passives by winning Free Matches on Legendary Hero difficulty. For the uninitiated, here is how that game mode is accessed, and players will receive a random assortment of Custom Passives at the end of the match:

  1. Select Competition Mode on the main menu.
  2. Select Free Match.
  3. Choose the team that you want to play against, and select Legendary Hero.

To note, Legendary Hero teams consist entirely of Legendary characters, all of which are Level 70+. As such, players will need to spend some time developing their own teams if they want to come out of these matches victorious. Fortunately, there are some great ways to level up fast in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, and it should not take players too long to put together a squad that is capable of taking down Legendary Hero teams.

Players who are reasonably skilled will be able to beat Legendary Hero teams in Manual Mode long before their own is Level 70+. That said, if a player wants to use Commander Mode, which is initiated by pressing the input that appears near the bottom-left corner of the screen, to grind for Custom Passives, they will need their squads to be fairly close to that level.

After earning some Custom Passives, players should head over to the Team Dock, which can be accessed in both Chronicle and Competition Mode, and select a Level 50+ character. Players should then go to their Abilearn Board and navigate to the final node, the Custom Passive Slot. Players must then simply select the slot and choose the Custom Passive that is of interest to equip it.

Custom Passives can be freely equipped and unequipped. This means that players can always change the Custom Passive of a character in Victory Road, and they need not worry about losing anything if they decide they want to remove one.
