How to Unlock Map in StarRupture

Here is how to unlock the Map Feature in StarRupture, as well as how to reveal Arcadia-7 faster using Geo Scanners.

How to Unlock Recipes in StarRupture

The first thing players need to know about unlocking recipes in StarRupture, is that they require a special Station called ‘Recipe Station‘ to unlock them. To do this, players need to reach Level 2 with Moon Energy Corporation and build the station using the building interface (Press B, then scroll to Stations in the Menu).

Once players have unlocked this Station, they will be able to visit every unlocked Crafting Station from its menu to see which recipes they can craft at each of them (Smelter, Fabricator, Furnace, and so on).

To unlock more of them, players will be asked for certain materials, as well as Data Points. Players should consider unlocking the most basic recipes first, like the Wolfram and Titanium Sheets, since they’re required to craft more advanced materials. They can also unlock Consumable and Food Crafting recipes by ‘donating’ Plants and other materials to the Recipe Station.

More often than not, they will also require Blueprints to unlock them. These can be found by locating Blue Chests in Abandoned Settlements, which are located all around Arcadia-7. Exploring these places is dangerous due to the extreme amount of Vermin that spawns near them, and also due to the imminent Rupture events that happen frequently.

To counter the Vermin, players can unlock some of the more advanced weapons, and craft lots of ammunition. Some of the Abandoned Settlements are located in dangerous Irradiated zones, so players will need to unlock some protective gear before venturing further.

It is possible that some of the recipes are locked due to some zones of Arcadia-7 being unavailable. Remember StarRupture is an Early Access game, and some of the content might unlock at a later date.

Finally, some of the advanced recipes might also require players to complete certain objectives first, like unlocking Specific Crafting Stations. As mentioned before, each crafting Station has its own menu in the Recipe Station, so advanced stations will require lots of materials and some of them might even belong to lesser Tier Crafting Stations.

Make sure to unlock everything from the early stations first before trying to unlock more advanced Recipes, or your progression might be hindered since these could require some of the previous recipes.
