This guide will show players where to find the dress in KCD2 and describe how to steal it if the cost proves too much.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – How To Find Hans Capon Before The Wedding
If players head to a specific location, they can find Sir Hans Capon hunting before attending the wedding.
Where To Get The Companion’s Dress In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The red dress that players seek is a
Tyrol Brocade Cotehardie, and depending on Henry’s reputation and haggling skills, players should be able to pick it up for around 300 Groschen.
It can be bought from Bartoshek, the Tailor in Troskowitz. This shop is just to the east of the stocks where Henry and Hans have food thrown at them near the start of the game. Scroll down to the bottom of his wares, where there is a section for women’s clothing.
This dress cannot be acquired before the quest begins, in case players were thinking of being prepared and turning up with the required items.
Henry will also need to buy his own fancy clothes from here to attend the wedding.

This guide on how to complete the Wedding Crashers quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance will walk players through every step of the special occasion.
How To Steal The Companion’s Dress In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
If players don’t want to spend their hard-earned Groschen on a dress for someone else, then there’s always the option to steal it.
Bartoshek’s entire stock of clothing can be found inside a wooden chest inside his shop. There are a few ways to get inside and steal the Tyrol Brocade Cotehardie dress for the companion.
Knock Out Bartoshek & Steal His Keys
If Bartoshek is inside his shop, standing by the counter, players can crouch and throw a stone through the window. He should turn around to look at it, giving players the opportunity to sneak in, close the door, and then knock him out from behind.
Players can then loot his Keys to the Shop and unlock the chest, taking the dress and anything else they fancy.
Steal Bartoshek’s Keys At Night
If players find knocking out Bartoshek in daylight too risky or out of character for their Henry, they could instead sneak into his house and pickpocket him at night.
The door to his house is directly opposite the door to his shop, and has a Very Easy lock. He and his wife should be sleeping in the room on the left. Pickpocket his keys or knock him out and loot him, and then use these to enter his shop and steal the dress from the chest.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – When Should Players Go To The Wedding? (Wedding Crashers)
Before heading to the Wedding Crashers quest, you’ll want to do a few other things beforehand to enhance your Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 experience.
Lockpick The Shop & Chest At Night
If players don’t fancy getting up close and personal with the tailor, they can instead pick locks. However, as the door has a Hard lock and the chest has a Very Hard lock, players are unlikely to have farmed the lockpicking skill to be high enough at this stage of the game.
They will also need to be wary of guards patrolling Troskowitz, but thankfully, the tailor’s shop is partially enclosed.
