The Sims 4 Royalty and Legacy Is Ages 15 and Up
Confirmed
The Sims 4 Royalty and Legacy has been rated ages 15 and up in South Korea due to “indirect and limited sexual expressions” and “realistic expressions of violence”. This information is confirmed by the official Game Rating Classification Decision document.
Unfortunately, the reasons for the age rating written on the document describe the same behaviors that can be seen in The Sims 4 base game and its other packs. So, even though this information is real, it doesn’t give players any new, interesting details about the EP.

According to the expansion pack’s description, The Sims 4 Royalty and Legacy will allow “players to become nobles and build a long-lasting dynasty”. It would be great if it were a more detailed description so players could get a better idea of what to expect. Nevertheless, players can expect them to be able to have heirs, servants, and engage in diplomatic relationships with the nobles in the other neighborhoods. Fans are certainly curious to see how complex this nobility system will be, especially compared to medieval role-playing games.
The Sims 4 Royalty and Legacy Comes Out in February 2026
Not Confirmed, Rumor
There are some rumors that the Royalty and Legacy expansion will release in February. While some facts support these claims, it has not been confirmed. However, it would be the perfect timing.
EA tends to release a promotional event about two weeks before an expansion pack goes live. A while back, it revealed that players could expect news in January regarding the future of The Sims 4. Additionally, the Deck the Palms holiday event is scheduled to end on January 13. Therefore, it would make sense if EA unveiled the Royalty and Legacy expansion pack and announced its promotional event before the end of February and then launched the EP in the second month of the year.
