Wall Puzzle Solution In WWM (Where Winds Meet)

While exploring Qinghe in Where Winds Meet, players will probably stumble upon an old ruined castle. Exploring inside requires solving a fire contraption puzzle as well as a wall puzzle in WWM. These puzzles are part of the Echoes of Old Battles side story in Qinghe, Verdant Wilds. The quest rewards a Mystic Skill and other valuable rewards such as Echo Jade. How To Trigger The Echoes Of Old Battles Quest In WWM – Where Winds Meet

Head to the marked location in Qinghe and speak with Lie Bujin to trigger the Echoes of Old Battles side quest in WWM.

Enter the ruined castle to find bandits speaking near some explosive barrels. Young Heroes can eavesdrop on their conversation to gain more information and then aim a fire arrow at the barrels to get rid of them.

Once you proceed forward, more bandits will attack you, so make sure to defeat them. Next, head to the marked area where the bandit leader, Zhang Bao, is interrogating a descendant of the Northern Vow. Take care of the boss and open the nearby chest in the training ground to find a puzzle map. This map shows the location of fire contraptions you need to light.

How To Solve Fire Contraptions Puzzle In WWM – Where Winds Meet

There are four fire contraptions players must light in no specific order to solve the puzzle in Echoes of Old Battles quest.

The first one is in the training ground where you defeated the bandit leader.

The second is near the ruined castle entrance. Head to the entrance and face it, then turn left and climb the stairs. Jump on the crumbling wall and head up to find the second fire contraption is already lit.

Proceed alongside the crumbled wall to find a third fire contraption at the end of the path. Jump on the side platforms to reach the top and light it. The final and fourth fire contraption is on the lower platform to the east. You can reach it by jumping towards it and climbing the wall, or landing on the floor and going through another wave of enemies to climb to the top.

Go back to the training ground where a pressure plate appeared. Preform a Mighty Drop to press it and reveal the entrance to a hidden underground area.

As you progress inside, players will find a soldier they can take a pose from. Proceed further inside to find a big statue where you can perform the “Yanyun Oath” pose to start the wall puzzle in Where Winds Meet.

To solve the puzzle on the wall in WWM, you need to press three stone blocks. From the room’s entrance, go to the wall on the right and push these two stone blocks:

Next, to complete the wall puzzle in WWM, head to the left wall and push the following stone block:

• The block with the drift character (漂)

Solving the puzzle on the wall unlocks the door to the secret chamber. Go behind the waterfall and pull the lever to open another door.

Go inside and open the treasure chest to get valuable rewards, including the Touch of Death Assassin Mystic Skill.

Young Heroes can now sneak behind unsuspecting enemies and press a button to kill them instantly.
