How to Find & Loot Baron Husks in ARC Raiders (Dormant Barons)
Baron Husks in ARC Raiders are goliath machines that are destroyed and now lie dormant for raiders to salvage components from. During the Dormant Barons quest, players will need to locate these remnants of machines that can be found scattered across all the maps in the game. While finding them is a bit hard as it is, players will also need to breach and salvage components from Baron Husks, which may attract some unwanted attention from other raiders and machines. So, here’s how you can locate and loot Baron Husks in ARC Raiders.

Baron Husk Locations in ARC Raiders (Dormant Barons)
Dam Battlegrounds Map
To find Baron Husks, players can travel to the Dam Battlegrounds map in ARC Raiders. While you can find Baron Husks in all the maps, three locations in Dam Battlegrounds always have a Baron Husk present.
Here are all the Baron Husk locations in ARC Raiders‘ Dam Battlegrounds:
- Old Battleground (Westernmost part of the Dam Battlegrounds)
- Water Treatment Control (Southwestern part of the Dam Battlegrounds)
- The Breach (Eastern part of the Dam Battlegrounds)
The Baron Husks at Old Battleground and Water Treatment Control are easy to salvage, but the one at The Breach is guarded by a sentinel that will target and snipe you. Make sure to first try the first two, and then go for the last one.
Spaceport Map
For players looking to find the husks on another map, they can find three Baron Husks on the Spaceport map in ARC Raiders. Spaceport is a more PvP-dominant map, so expect to get into a fight while you’re looting one of these.
- The first Baron Husk can be found south of the Departure building, on the outskirts of the main Spaceport complex.
- The second Baron Husk is located west of the Vehicle Maintenance building.
- The third Baron Husk is located in the northwestern corner of the Spaceport map, near the Shipping Warehouse.
Looting the first and the third Baron Husks is safer, as they’re far away from the PvP hot spots on Spaceport. However, looting the second Baron Husk near the Vehicle Maintenance building will be trickier as everyone in the area will be able to have a line of sight on you.
How to Loot Baron Husks & Complete Dormant Barons Quest in ARC Raiders
Once you approach a Baron Husk in ARC Raiders, you’ll hear a low mechanical rumbling sound, which will indicate that the machine is available to breach and loot.
The head of Baron Husk is the one you’ll need to loot. However, it is high up, and players will need to use its legs (mechanical appendages) to climb their way up to it.
Once you reach its head, start breaching it, which will take some time. During breaching, the Baron Husk will emit loud sounds periodically, which can alert nearby hostile ARC machines and enemy raiders.
As soon as your raider completes breaching the Baron Husk’s head, quickly jump off, as it’ll set the area on fire. It’ll take some time for the flames to extinguish, so wait patiently nearby. Once the flames are gone, simply climb back up and loot the Baron Husk. Doing this will complete the Dormant Barons quest in ARC Raiders.
If a Baron Husk is already looted, you’ll still be able to complete the Dormant Barons quest by simply searching it.
You’ll need to extract and return to Speranza to turn in the quest and receive 3x Door Blockers and 3x Li’l Smoke Grenade as a reward for completing the Dormant Barons quest.
