Genshin Impact Leaks More Details About Varka
Recent leaks from Genshin Impact are sharing more details about upcoming playable character Varka, revealing both details about his gameplay and his tentative release date. The massively popular HoYoverse RPG has brought plenty of long-rumored characters to the forefront throughout the first few updates of the Nod-Krai cycle, including some teased since the game’s early days. Genshin Impact introduced two new Fatui Harbingers in-game with Columbina and Sandrone, as well as finally revealing cast members like Varka and Alice who were first mentioned in Mondstadt. Now, one of Genshin Impact‘s longest-rumored characters is coming soon.
While HoYoverse is just now gearing up for Varka’s release, the Knights of Favonius Grand Master already has a presence within the RPG. Varka was first mentioned as early as Genshin Impact‘s Version 1.0 update, with Varka being away from Mondstadt on an expedition at the time the Traveler arrives to the Anemo region. Five years after the game’s launch, Varka finally made his in-game debut as an NPC, appearing within the main story of the ongoing Version 6.1 update. New leaks are now giving even more hints about Varka’s upcoming playable release.
Genshin Impact Leak Teases Varka’s Gameplay
A recently shared leak from Genshin Impact is teasing several details about Varka’s upcoming playable debut in Genshin Impact. According to the leak, Varka will debut within the playable roster as a five-star Anemo character, said to be able to utilize the new Hexenzirkel-themed Resonance effects planned to be added to the game. The post also suggests that Varka will pair well with Version 6.2 five-star character Durin, while also being teased as an “improved version of Wanderer.” The leak even hints at Varka’s release window within Genshin Impact, expected to launch alongside Version 6.4 in February 2026.
Varka’s playable release in Genshin Impact is far from the only massively-hyped character set to debut throughout the Nod-Krai cycle. Nod-Krai is expected to bring the first playable members of the Hexenzirkel to Genshin Impact, with both the previously-mentioned Alice and Nicole Reeyn teased to make their debut. The previously-mentioned Fatui Harbingers are also expected to make their playable debuts during Nod-Krai’s time in the spotlight, with Columbina said to release as early as Version 6.3.
While fans wait for Varka and more exciting characters, HoYoverse looks to have plenty of new cast members coming in the meantime. The ongoing Version 6.1 introduced one new character to the playable roster, with Nefer debuting as a five-star Dendro Catalyst character utilizing the new Lunar Bloom elemental reaction. HoYoverse has also already revealed two new characters coming in Version 6.2, with both Durin and Jahoda confirmed to be releasing with the RPG’s next update. Genshin Impact fans should have lots of new roster additions to be excited about throughout the game’s next patches.
