Roblox Fisch Boreal Pines (Location, Rods, and Complete Bestiary)
Roblox Fisch has plenty of islands; some above the ocean and others underwater, like the Atlantis and Mariana’s Veil trenches. These spots are full of native fish, which are perfect for making money, completing bestiaries, and earning progression badges.
Fisch: Complete Mariana’s Veil Guide
The Mariana’s Veil update provides Fisch players with plenty of fun things to do. Here’s how to complete everything it has to offer.
You’ll also find different fishing rods with rare stats, making your fish farming journey more exciting. One of the newest islands, Boreal Pines, was added in the 1.63.0 update and comes with a new set of items and sea animals to discover. Here’s the location of Boreal Pines, along with the rods and bestiary fish you can collect.
How to Get to Boreal Pines in Fisch
Boreal Pines is a snowy area, located on the Northern Expedition side of the map in Fisch. If you’re unsure where to go, just follow the northern compass until you see the Northern Expedition marker. Enter through the portal there, and you’ll spot Boreal Pines on the left, near Northern Summit.
Once you arrive, a temperature bar will appear on the side, similar to when you’re at Northern Summit. You’ll need to keep it full, or depleting it will cause instant death. You can use a Winter Clock or the Glimmerfin Suit 3 to survive the cold.
Slopes and snow in the area slow you down, so you’ll need Winter Boots to pick up speed. You can get these by completing a quest from Marvin, who asks for Meg’s Spine and Meg’s Fang, both of which can be found by fishing in the waterfalls of the Ancient Isle.
All Boreal Pines Rods in Fisch
Boreal Pines offers two unique fishing equipment that aren’t too expensive and have solid stats. Here’s a quick summary of both:
|

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
|
Boreal Rod |
Lure Speed: 60% Luck: 50% Control: 0.05 Resilience: 25% Capacity: 14kg Passive ability: Can apply the Boreal mutation to fish, making their value 4 times higher. There’s a 40% chance of it happening. |
Go into Boreal Pines, take the left trail, and you’ll spot the Boreal Rod by Marvin, sitting near a campfire. |
18,000C$ |
None |
Good for starters, to be honest, but it’s better than many Stage 1, 2, and even 3 rods out there, like the Arctic and Phoenix Rods. You can use enchantments like Unbreakable to improve weight and control, or Quality to boost overall stats. |
|
Cryolash |
Lure Speed: 87% Luck: 149% Control: -0.1 Resilience: 75% Capacity: 150kg Passive ability: Forces Frozen (1.5x) and Glacial (8x) mutations on your fish. Progress speed goes up every 4 seconds. |
Head right to Marvin (southeast to east), climb the cliff on the right, and enter the wooden hub above the ledge; you’ll find the Cryolash Rod on the bed inside. |
3,500,000C$ |
Reach Level 500 and finish the Boreal Pines bestiary |
While it’s easy to acquire, this rod’s biggest drawback is its low control. You can pick up the Ethereal Prism Rod in the same price range with better overall stats. The Elder Mossripper, priced at just 350k, also offers strong competition compared to the expensive Cryolash Rod. If you want similar stats at a lower price, you can go for the Cerulean Fang Rod, Merlin’s Staff, or the Rod of the Zenith. If you do end up using the Cryolash Rod, apply Controlled or Herculean to make it perform better. |

Frostwyrm is an exotic fish that only shows up in the Crystal Fissure pool during its exclusive hunt event, similar to Scylla and Megalodon. To spawn Frostwyrm in Fisch, you’ll need to use multiple Sundial Totems and trigger the Frostwyrm Hunt. For us, it didn’t appear until we’d used roughly 50 Sundial Totems.
