Skyrim Mod Has Serious Dungeons and Dragon Vibes

By newsgame

A brand-new Skyrim mod has added a touch of Dungeons and Dragons to Bethesda’s iconic RPG, by adding extensive and customizable party sheets to the game. The new mod blends two fantasy franchises perfectly, with this Skyrim mod giving players a fresh way to interact with their followers and other NPCs throughout the game world.

The world of Skyrim modding continues to impress. Over the years, fans have expanded Bethesda’s role-playing game with thousands of mods, ranging from small quality-of-life additions to ambitious total conversions. Players can add hours upon hours of new content via Skyrim mods, and the community is arguably the biggest reason why the game remains extremely relevant in 2025. On Nexus Mods, Skyrim: Special Edition has the largest number of mods of any game, with over 122,000 at the time of writing. What is perhaps most impressive is that even this far down the road, Skyrim mods are only becoming more ambitious, rather than slowing down. Modders are pushing the Creation Engine to its limit, and it’s incredible to see what is emerging from it.

Skyrim fans run into multiple issues with the new Switch 2 version, despite the reveal trailer promising upgraded performance on the platform.

Skyrim Mod Adds Party Sheets Straight From Dungeons and Dragons

On Nexus Mods, a new mod by user rijosan has been released called Skyrim Party Sheet. This Skyrim mod is exactly what it sounds like, giving players a real-time HUD that allows them to track their companions and their stats. Players gain access to a persistent HUD display showing basic information about all their followers. This includes the option to add custom portraits, making it compatible with modded companions as well. For those who want to delve a little deeper, players can hop into a comprehensive party sheet, with details about all their followers’ equipment, skills, and status effects. Any NPC can be inspected using a hotkey, allowing players to view the same information about anyone outside their party, too. It helps give the game a little Dungeons and Dragons flavor, increasing Skyrim‘s depth for those who want to transform it into the most comprehensive RPG experience imaginable.

Perhaps the most impressive element of Skyrim Party Sheet is how customizable it is. As well as the aforementioned character portraits, players can also extensively adjust the UI elements in the mod, and there’s even the option to add custom assets, meaning this is a mod that could be further modded by others in the future. According to the mod’s forum section, there is support for up to 16 followers at once – perfect for any player using multiple Skyrim companion mods throughout their adventure. Because Skyrim Party Sheet is so new, it only has 507 total downloads at the time of writing. But as players begin to catch on to the potential of this awesome Dungeons and Dragons-inspired mod, there’s no doubt that it has serious potential to blow up in the future.

A major reason for Skyrim‘s continued popularity (beyond the dedicated modding scene) is undoubtedly the lack of The Elder Scrolls 6. The wait for the sequel now extends to beyond 14 years, and the upcoming RPG doesn’t seem set for release any time soon. In recent years, Bethesda has been occupied with Starfield, though the next Elder Scrolls game is now in full development. Despite being announced in 2018, there are still very few concrete details about the highly anticipated title. Todd Howard will pop up every now and then to reconfirm that The Elder Scrolls 6 is still in the works, but overall, Bethesda has been very tight-lipped about the project, leaving fans to speculate.
