Once players get a Charcadet of their own, it’s time to look for the NPC that will give them the items needed to evolve it into Ceruledge or Armarouge. Players will need the Malicious Armor to evolve it into Ceruledge, or the Auspicious Armor to make it evolve into Armarouge.
Pokemon Legends Z-A Code Gets You One of the Most Popular Pokemon of All Time
Pokemon Legends: Z-A trainers have a limited time to redeem a code that grants them one of the franchise’s most popular critters.
To find the NPC with these two evolution items, players need to travel to the bridge northwest of Racine Construction. It’s the one that pops out of
Wild Zone 17 and the NPC is called Adver, and he is waiting with a Side Mission mark below the bridge.
Talk to Adver and go through all his dialogue, then talk to him again once it’s time to make a hard choice: Should you pick Ceruledge or Armarouge?
Here’s the real deal: After picking one, players will have to battle Adver in a 1v1 Battle, and winning will yield 1x Gold Bottle Cap and 5x Bottle Cap, which is a great reward for a Side Mission. With these, players can Hyper Train their Ceruledge or Armarouge to perfection.
Should You Pick Armarouge or Ceruledge In Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension?
To make it easier for Pokemon Legends Z-A players to pick between Armarouge and Ceruledge, let’s break it down into two separate sections to analyze which one suits their team composition the best.
Players must think well before speaking to Adver with their choice, as it is impossible to Save-Scum and reload to pick the other Armor Set. Once they pick one of the armor pieces, the game will automatically save, locking them from choosing the other.

Ceruledge
is a Fire/Ghost Pokemon with a BST of 525 (Pretty Average) and a focus on Atk and Sp. Def. It’s not a particularly fast Pokemon (85 Speed), so it takes a bit for it to move around and attack. Still, it has some pretty interesting moves like Shadow Claw, Bitter Blade, and Flare Blitz, and can even learn Solar Blade. Still, Ceruledge is a good Pokemon to carry around (B+ Tier) for the Main Story and PvE. It gains considerable advantage over Armarouge, so in a 1v1 Fight, it will take the lead in nine out of ten bouts. -
Armarouge
is a Fire/Psychic Pokemon, a combination that is a bit rare (only three Pokemon have it, and one of them is currently unavailable in the mainline games), so it goes nicely against Pokemon like Lucario (Fighting/Steel). It’s the absolute opposite of Ceruledge, since it has Def and Sp. Atk as its primary stats. Armarouge learns moves like Psychock and Armor Cannon (which are its signature moves). It does well against Special attackers, though it’s a bit slow and can become vulnerable, especially against Ceruledge, which has a type advantage.
At the end of the day, it is up to players to decide which of these two Pokemon suits their playstyle the best. Both are good enough for PvE, but they are definitely not a PvP meta Pick, and their combat usefulness is debatable.
