Road to Redemption is a Wandering Tale in Where Winds Meet, where players have to find a way to help the monk Daohui in the Halo Peak region of Qinghe. Like many other Wandering Tales in WWM, there are no quest markers to guide players to where they need to go in order to complete the quest, which can make the quest quite difficult.

How to Start the Road to Redemption Wandering Tale
To trigger the Road to Redemption quest, head to the location marked on the map above to find Daohui, a monk reciting scriptures in front of a small Buddha statue in the shade of a mountain in the Halo Peak region.
Talk to Daohui, and he will tell you that he is trying to repent for his sins, which are rooted in the Pagoda of Karmaful Karma in the Bodhi Sea. Although he does not explicitly ask you to do anything, the item he is looking for is called the “Illegible Final Note.”
Road to Redemption Walkthrough
The “Illegible Final Note” can be found at the Pagoda of Karmaful Karma in the Yongfu Temple in the Bodhi Sea region, directly east of Halo Peak. The Yongfu Temple is not marked on the map; you’ll have to follow the map marker shown in the screenshot above to find it in the Bodhi Sea.
If you have completed the Bodhi Sea Campaign Quest (Flaming Meteor Skill), you will already have unlocked the Bodhi Sea teleport point, which appears as a red umbrella on the map screen and teleports you directly into the middle of Yongfu Temple. If not, use the wooden bog bridges to cross the swamp.
When you teleport to the Bodhi Sea, you’ll arrive in front of a drum in the middle of the Temple. From here, turn around and activate your Wind Sense (V).
Look to your right, towards the entrance leading into the Temple, and you’ll notice an item lying on the front steps, directly underneath the doorway. This is the Illegible Final Note required to complete the Road to Redemption quest.
If you are having trouble finding the note, look for the Assist Signposts just outside the temple; the Illegible Final Note can be found right next to them.
Road to Redemption Rewards
Go back to Daohui at Halo Peak and give him the Illegible Final Note to complete the quest. You will receive the following rewards:
- Echo Jade x40
- Qinghe Exploration x10
- Coin x5000
- Character EXP x5000 (or Stored EXP x5000)
- Polished Mirror Player Avatar
