Visually, it uses a pixel art style with a top-down camera, which is also reminiscent of Vampire Survivors. However, Power Fantasy is not a simple copy, and its gameplay actually introduces features that could set it apart from many other comparable games.

One of the key differences in Power Fantasy is how each run works. Instead of a fixed 30-minute session with enemies growing stronger over time, Power Fantasy starts with short five-minute expeditions that each end with a boss fight.
