Genshin Impact Leaks Event Banners for Version 6.3
Thanks to recent Genshin Impact datamining, the full slate of Event Banners for Version 6.3 has been revealed, featuring a lineup of Neuvillette, Ineffa, Columbina, and Zibai. With Version 6.2 officially live, beta testing for the next Genshin Impact update is well underway. Players have gotten their first look at Columbina’s ability kit, as well as gameplay footage of all three characters set to make their debut in Version 6.3: Columbina, Zibai, and Illuga. However, the upcoming patch is expected to feature some important reruns on its Event Banners.
Version 6.2 is headlined by Venti, Durin, Xilonen, and Varesa, focusing on the Hexerei characters in the first half, while giving some of the most powerful Natlan characters their due in the second half. However, as Nod-Krai has progressed through its content cycle, one thing has become crystal clear to a lot of Genshin Impact players: Ineffa is an invaluable character to have. As a 5-Star Electro Polearm, Ineffa in Genshin Impact consolidates a fair few roles into her ability kit: enabling a Lunar Reaction, dealing off-field Electro damage, and being a Shield Support.
Genshin Impact: Version 6.3 Banner Characters
Columbina – 5-Star Hydro Catalyst
Neuvillette – 5-Star Hydro Catalyst
Zibai – 5-Star Geo Sword
Ineffa – 5-Star Electro Polearm
Thankfully, as datamined by HomDGCat, Ineffa is expected to have her first rerun in Version 6.3, accompanied by Neuvillette, Columbina, and Zibai. While the order of release is unknown, there are a few rational assumptions to make. The second half of the update will revolve around the Lantern Rite, while the first half will revolve around the Archon Quest. Furthermore, Neuvillette in Genshin Impact is expected to receive an alternative skin during Version 6.3. Taking this into account, the most likely banner order will be Columbina and Neuvillette in the first phase, with Zibai and Ineffa in the second phase.
It’s important to remember that there is another piece of the puzzle: Illuga. The upcoming 4-Star Geo Polearm has been datamined as a dedicated support for Lunar-Crystallize, the new reaction coming in Version 6.3. As such, he is expected to be Zibai’s best teammate and a featured 4-Star in the second phase of the update. Initial reactions to the new Lightkeeper have been extremely positive, with many players noting Illuga’s potential to buff older Geo hypercarries such as Itto. The only downside to his ability kit is that Illuga cannot enable Lunar Reactions in Genshin Impact on his own, effectively restricting him to teams that feature Columbina or Zibai.
Breaking down the featured 5-Stars of Version 6.3 is a simple task: for players who wish to enable all three Lunar Reactions on any Geo, Hydro, or Dendro character on their account, there is no better investment than Columbina. As a 5-Star Hydro Catalyst, she is designed around dealing consistent off-field Hydro damage, enabling Lunar Reactions, and expanding the mechanics of those Lunar Reactions. This makes her a versatile support who works with Nefer and Flins, but also with older Genshin Impact characters such as Navia.
On the other hand, Zibai is expected to be a 5-Star Geo Sword hypercarry built around the Lunar-Crystallize reaction, with her overall playstyle being reminiscent of Flins. She scales with DEF, and her passives make Zibai prefer Geo or Hydro teammates – effectively locking her into a dual-element team like Skirk or Nefer in Genshin Impact.
As for Neuvillette, he will remain one of the best Hydro hypercarries entering 2026, with one of the easiest rotations to master. With Varka confirmed as Anemo and Nicole confirmed as Pyro, it may be a while until Genshin Impact sees another Hydro 5-Star. He works well with newer characters like Lauma, Ineffa, and Escoffier, allowing players considerable flexiblity when building a team around Neuvillette. Version 6.3 is expected to come out on January 14, 2026.
