There are sixteen campaign missions in Marvel Cosmic Invasion. All but the first of these have three special challenges for players to complete, two of which will always be tied to a specific playable character. The third is what’s known as a stage challenge, and will usually require players to complete the mission without taking damage from one of the stage’s environmental hazards.
All Cosmic Matrix Rewards in Marvel Cosmic Invasion
This complete list of all 101 Cosmic Matrix rewards will help Marvel Cosmic Invasion players decide where to spend their Cosmic Cubes first.
Players will unlock four new playable characters as they make their way through Marvel Cosmic Invasion, but by completing campaign challenges, they’ll also be able to earn Cosmic Cubes. These can be used to unlock special rewards like Hero Palettes and Music Tracks, so it’s a good idea to keep challenges in mind when choosing your characters to avoid having to play missions again later.
For all but the first and last Marvel Cosmic Invasion stages, the two characters with challenges in that specific mission will be highlighted on the character select screen. Players can also check the requirements for the current stage’s challenges and their progress toward them via the pause menu.

How Long Does it Take to Beat Marvel Cosmic Invasion?
|
Marvel Cosmic Invasion Campaign Length |
~3 Hours |
|---|---|
|
Marvel Cosmic Invasion 100% Completion |
~6 Hours |
With the exception of the tutorial, which can be completed in just a couple of minutes, all of the missions in Marvel Cosmic Invasion will take players between ten and fifteen minutes to complete while playing solo. As such, it’s possible to finish the campaign in around three hours. If players plan for the challenges accordingly, they should be able to complete most of them on their first playthrough, although some of the stage challenges will likely require multiple attempts, so players should allow another two or three hours if they’re going for 100% completion. Likewise, certain achievements require a bit of grinding, although most can be unlocked naturally during a regular playthrough if players keep their requirements in mind.
